Veronica's POV
As i walk throught the corridor I saw Aaron near his locker. He looks at me and gives me a short smile. I smile back at him and Nessa looks at to me and whispers "Tell me everything that happened yesterday." because by the time i reached home yesterday, she was asleep .
I just nod and walk off to math class . While I was putting away a few books in the locker, I saw Becky and her friends talking "Eww look at what she's wearing" while pointing at me. I just gave her a sweet smile.
"She's trying to be all nice to become popular but she can never defeat me." I heard becky say really loud to make sure I heard her. What the heck is wrong with this girl. I am really not in the mood to fight with some dumb person like her cause it's gonna be a waste of time. "Oh shut up Becky, you do know you are no competition for Veronica, right?" Tessa says as she puts her arm around my shoulder and we walk to math class together.
In history class, Aaron raised his hand when Mrs Jones asked a question and looked towards my direction and smiled cause it was a question we learned yesterday."Woah Burriss, your answer is right. Good job"she said and then looked at me and slightly nodded.
A week later
I tutored Aaron an hour for the past seven days and we've become pretty good friends. His attempts in getting back becky has failed and he's trying really hard to win her back. He hangs out with my friends at school and they all started liking him.
"Hey guys, Can we sit here?" Aaron and a couple of his friends asked us "Sure"I replied. It was lunchtime and I as well as my friends got to know Aaron's friends and we had a lot of fun getting to know each other."Hey Aaron, I didn't know you had such a beautiful tutor"one of his friends says.I slightly blush and smile at him."Yeah ikr"another one said. Emma and Ethan looked at me and gave me a creepy smile. They always do that when a guy compliments me.
Later that day
After tutoring Aaron that day, we were just talking about all kinds of stuff. "Hey Roni, your friends are really cool you know? "Thanks, yours aren't bad too." I reply. "Hey Roni" he starts. "What?" I ask. Oh nothing, just"he said. "Aaron,tell me". He took a big breath and said "I really need your help with something". "With wha-" I asked but was cut off. "I want you to fake date me."
