Here comes the rain,
In the night so dark.
Befalling the roaring thunder,
And the lightning wonder.
Here comes the rain,
Falling on my face.
Rustling through the leaves,
Shaking the ground.
Here comes the rain,
Soaking through my clothes.
Calming my person,
Stilling my thoughts.
Here comes the rain,
Dancing with hope,
Singing with joy,
Lighting up with pride.
Here comes the rain,
When all seemed lost.
Showing me glimpses,
Of the beautiful world.
