Chapter 18

Colby's POV

I got up and ran to my closet and put on a shirt. I was about to leave when I realized I didn't even know what hospital y/n was at. I turned around real fast. Kind of panicking in a way. I grabbed my phone and called y/m/n. "Hello?" She said obviously exhausted. "Hey I'm on my way what hospital are you at?" I asked getting in my car. She told me the address and I practically sped the whole time I was driving. But after a while I finally got there. I walked up to the lady at the front desk. "Hello sir how can I help you?" She smiled. "Uh yea my name is Colby Brock Im here to visit y/f/l/n" I said. The lady started typing on her computer "oh yes y/n is in room 148" I said thank you and walked away looking for her room. I finally came into the hallway with her room and saw her mother standing with her arms crossed, outside of y/n's room. She walked over to me and gave me a big hug. She lead me into y/n's room, and I saw her laying there with her eyes closed. She was probably sleeping. I made my way over to her bedside and held her hand, rubbing my thumb back and forth. I think this woke her up because she turned her head to face me and she opened her eyes. But not much, just a little. "Hey.. " I said to her. She smiled a little bit. "Hey colby." She said quietly. I smiled back at her. "I'm sorry." I said. "This was all my fault." I said tearing up. "How could this be your fault. Colby I'm the one who drove off and got in the crash." She said looking deeply into my eyes. "No it was my fault. All of this was for a stupid prank." I said. "A prank?" Y/n asked. " Yes it was just a stupid prank." I didn't even try holding back the tears. I just let them stream down my face. "Why didn't you tell me? All of this could've been avoided if you would've told me it was a prank!" Y/n was yelling at this point.. "I'm sorry I tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen. You just got in your car and left. It wasn't meant to go this far. I'm so so dearly sorry.." I was balling now I never meant for this all to happen. "If you were really sorry you wouldn't have let it go this far Colby."
