3rd Person POV

"Before I came to Beacon I..." She paused for a moment and looked into Y/N's eyes "You...what?" She looked down to avoid his gaze "I used to...be apart of the White Fang." Y/N's eyes slowly widened and Blake was getting ready for him to yell or move, but he didn't. He stayed where he was and he didn't say a word. "Not only that, but my father used to be the leader of it. Though when he was in power, he wished to go the peaceful route. I called him a coward because of that and when I think about that I... I can't help but hate myself."

Flashback

"After all of the things they've done to us, you still insist on being like this?!" Blake clenched her fist and narrowed her eyes "Blake, you and I both know that violence won't get us anywhere. That'll only make them hate us even more."

"So what?! Fighting back is better than sitting on your ass and doing nothing!"
"Blake Belladonna!"
"Shut it Kali! You have no say in this. You haven't done anything for our kind!"
"Blake that is enough!"

Ghira stood up and glared at his daughter, only to have her give him the same look "If more faunus follow your cowardly ways, it'll be your fault for putting the idea in their head." Blake turned around and stormed towards the door "I can't believe I was born into a family of cowards!" As Blake slammed the door shut, Kali began to breakdown while Ghira started to comfort her.

End Flashback

"I... I can't imagine how they felt after I said that. They... They probably despise me for what I did. I wouldn't blame them..." Blake could feel herself tearing up, but a reassuring squeeze from Y/N's hand made her look up at him "I... I know they d-don't. Your parents understood what you were going through and m-most likely know that you were just frustrated. They don't hate you Blake. A real parent could never hate t-their child."

Blake's body started to shake and she pulled her hand away from his. She pulled him into a hug and began to let her tears flow. He hugged her back as she cried into his shoulder "How could I have been so stupid?!"

"E-Everything will be alright B-Blake. I p-promise."

Time Skip

Blake entered her dorm room with a large and bright grin. This, of course, scared her teammates a bit. "Uh, you alright Blake? You seem...weird?" Ruby walked up to her, only to get a large hug from the faunus "Never better Ruby! So how was that date Yang?" Blake let go of Ruby, who seemed very confused "It went pretty well. So what made you so happy? Finally gave Sun a chance?"

"Of course not. I just...had a wonderful conversation with Y/N earlier."
"Y/N? Wasn't that the guy who came to door yesterday?" Weiss interjects.
"He...did?"
"Oh yeah! He came to the door since he wanted to talk to Yang!" Ruby stated in a joyful manner.
"What were you two talking about?"

Blake looked at Yang with a raised eyebrow. Yang however, ignored the look and put her hands behind her head "I honestly don't remember. Before he could say anything important Sage came along and I left with him."

Blake's eye twitched as she pictured Yang and Y/N together. Wait, why would she picture that? She knows that Yang is with Sage so why worry? "Well anyways, what did you guys talk about?" Weiss rolled her eyes and looked like she was ready to smack Ruby upside her head "Ruby, quit bothering Blake."

"No, it's fine Weiss. I was helping him build his confidence. We started off with a smaller conversation and then we got into... more important things. This is only the first step though so it'll take some time." Even though Yang and Weiss understood what Blake was talking about, Ruby's first response was "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!! BLAKE AND Y/N ARE GONNA BE A COUPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Blake's face lit up and she nearly fell over "R-Ruby?!"

"It'll be like those movies Pyrrha watches! The shy guy comes to a girl to help him with something and over time, the girl falls in love with her! The guy realizes this an-" Weiss smacks Ruby and drags her out the room "That's it! We're going for a walk." The door was slammed shut and Blake scurried to her bed "...I really have to stop letting Ruby watch those with Pyrrha."

With Y/N

Thoughts of Yang went through Y/N's mind as he started to draw "What are you up to Shy Boy?" His eyes went to his teammate only to look back down "Drawing Yang." Jay stopped tinkering with his weapon and he stared at Y/N for a few moments "Are you still chasing after her? Dude, she already has a guy. Not only that, but the both of you are the exact opposite! When will you understand that?"

"I can c-change..."
"Really? Changing for a girl that won't even notice you?"
"Y-You aren't helping."
"Are you sure? Look man, I understand that you have a thing for Yang, but you have to understand that it would never work."
"You don't kn-"
"Yes I do! Guys like you always do this! You like a girl way out of you league and a few months later you end up depressed since she's with another guy. After that you'll find she's a slut!"
"DON'T CALL HER A SLUT!"

Jay's eye went wide as Y/N covered his mouth "I-I'm s-so sorry!" Y/N ran out the room and into the hallway, leaving a shocked Jay in thought. "Holy shit..."
