A spiral of dirt surrounded me as I was thrown to the ground. My feet dragged into the ground as I skidded in a circle, a puff of air leaving my lungs. My eyes narrowed as I scanned the area around me, before flying off once again, flying around imaginary beings and attacking the air. My steps sounded like thunder in the empty field. It was after school, late in the afternoon. However, I was restless, my mind not leaving Eri. I was itching to move, to save the young girl from the life I had once escaped.
With another heavy breath, I whirled around, an axel like kick slicing through the air. My foot connected with the ground, leaving a slight hole in the ground and causing me to wince slightly. I hadn't meant to kick that hard...
With another deep breath, I rolled my ankle before whirling around and kicking at nothing once again. I whirled around on the spot, expertly dodging and attacking an imaginary figure. My frown grew deeper as I whirled around, throwing my self across the floor before rolling into a squat. I clenched my fist, as I punched the floor, my irritation flooding through me.
"I've only ever seen you so irritated once, it's odd to see you frowning like that" A familiar voice called. My eyes snapped up, chest still heaving fitfully as I meet eyes with a familiar ruby red.
"I don't usually let my irritation control my actions, unlike you" I responded, causing a snort to come from the angry blonde head.
"Why are you still training?" Bakugou snorted, deciding to push aside my insult.
"I couldn't sit still" I muttered, rising to my feet. He stopped right in front of me, frowning at me suspiciously. I lifted up my head to stare right back at him, my breaths eventually coming back to a normal pattern.
"Something must have happened during your internships. All 5 of you are acting weirdly" He snorted. A bitter smirk curled across my lips, my mind flashing back to the meeting that had happened only a couple days ago.
"You could say that" I responded. Suddenly, before I could blink, Bakugou's fist was in my face. He had stopped it right in front of my nose, slight wind coming from the pressure of his punch.
"Take your irritation out on me" He ordered. I met eyes with him once again, raising an eyebrow.
"Why should I?" I asked.
"I decided to be nice, now take it" He snapped, withdrawing his fist. A small smirk curled across my lips as I stepped back, into a defensive position.
"Are quirks allowed?" I asked.
"Of course" he snorted. He then flew at me, a lot faster then he was at the start of the year. Because of how weary I already was, I almost didn't dodge it in time. However, I instantly got into the mindset of battle and began to pour my emotions into that duel. I quickly moved form defensive to offensive, and we both flew at each other, barely giving enough time to use defense. Our sharp movements kicked up dirt, and it almost became a dance. A fast, action packed dance that distracted us from the world. We didn't even notice when some people from others came out of the nearby building, only to gape at us. Specifically, some class B students and a couple of general studies. Within them, Shinso stood there, gaping at me.
It one last push of energy, I suddenly used my feet, which I had been avoiding the whole time. Bakugou, thinking this was a fist fight, was unprepared and caught a hard blow to his head. He stumbled backwards in pain, and I stumbled from weariness.
"That was cheating!" He roared in annoyance.
"That was defense" I snorted back, brushing sweat off my top lip with my wrist. My legs then finally collapsed underneath me, and I slumped onto the floor with a groan of weariness.
"I'm done" I mumbled, leaning back onto the floor.
"No you're not! Get back up! I'm just getting started!" Bakugou roared, storming towards me. The students suddenly chuckled, seemingly amused by our exchange. Bakugou stormed up to me and went to stomp on me, his foot connecting with my stomach.
"Don't you dare give up!" he growled, glaring down at me.
"Just let me sleep..." I mumbled, my eyes fading with sleep.
"Don't you dare fall asleep out here!" He yelled, getting flustered at the thought of having to carry me back to the dormitory.
"Then got off me. I might have a chance of getting back with you not standing on me" I deadpanned, my eyes shut as I tried to focus on moving my lead like limbs. I felt him remove his foot and I dragged my self to my feet, stumbling slightly with my shoulders slumped.
"Azumi" A familiar voice spoke up. I glanced up to find Shinso offering me an energy drink. The other students scowled, thinking that I would ignore him. Especially since Bakugou was glaring at him. However, a bright grin spread across my lips as I took the drink from him.
"Thanks! You're a life saver!" I grinned, unscrewing the lid and chugging the whole thing in one go. Everyone sweat dropped, especially when I took the bottle from my lips and stuck out my tongue, wincing at the almost acid taste.
"That is definitely a energy drink" I winced, shivering at the energy filled fluid entering my system.
"You shouldn't have sculled it" Bakugou scolded halfheartedly, for some reason disheartened by something. I waved off his scolding, giving Shinsou a thumbs up and a quiet thank you, before walking off towards the dormitory.
"Come on Bakugou!" I called. A small grin spread across his lips as he ran after me, his mood lifted once again.
"Thanks for training with me, it was a great help. You've improved a lot too" I grinned to the blonde male beside me.
"Whatever" He muttered, a small 'tch' leaving his lips as he glanced away. I leaned forward slightly to notice a small blush across his cheeks, causing me to chuckle.
"Tsundere~" I muttered under my breath.
"What was that?" He roared, whirling on me and not caring about the blush dusted across his cheeks.
"I don't know" I said innocently, shrugging. He scowled at me, narrowing his eyes. I just chuckled at his antics, bumping my elbow with his arm, a cheeky grin spreading across my lips.
"Of course, I do have a lot to say about you" I grinned. His face literally erupted into a bright read, steam beginning to trail out of his ears.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" He yelled.
"I don't know" I repeated once again, shrugging to add to the situation. He began to grumble insults under his breath, cursing me and my sly ways. I just laughed, amused by this childish side of Bakugou.
"What are you laughing at, ass hat!?" He cried.
"You called me it again!" I cackled, whirling on him and pointing at him. He instantly flushed even brighter and he growled, looking just about ready to charge me.
"Look, I'm too tired to run. Just release your stress by screaming at me or something" I deadpanned, repeatedly lightly hitting his outstretched arm. A cocky grin suddenly stretched across his lips, as he hoisted me up and over his shoulder.
"Bakugou!" I screeched in surprised, my cheek colliding with his muscular back.
"It's better that you can't run" I heard him comment. I grumbled under my breath, too weary to get out of his grasp.
"I'm going to beat your ass black and blue..." I mumbled, a soft smile stretching across my lips as I remembered the moments I had previously shared with Bakugou.
"You can try"
