I don't remember much of my childhood. Only that one thing from then. The one who brought the sickness to this world... was a man named Alex Mercer... sound familiar... it should. He was the protagonist in the game Prototype. He built a machine that allows him to travel between worlds.
Alex, on the other hand, fucked up. When he thought he could turn me into a prototype...well... he didn't get the results he wanted. Rather than turning me into a prototype, my body went into a state of constant regeneration and degeneration. In other words, I have infinite blood arts so long as I have stamina, which I have a ridiculous amount of Blood art power.
I wear an outfit of my make as I walked over to Gahrman
Now I stood before Gehrman, still as young as when I started.
My Flesh-Rever was folded and on my side, and my katana was strapped to the adjacent side of my body.
Sam: "Garnham. You've been a good friend. But you stand in my way." I said grabbing my Flesh-Rever, spinning it, transforming it into it's 2 handed form, "Stand aside Garnham." I said to my old friend.
He laughed.
Garnham: "you know, when we found ya, you were a kid with a chunk of metal stabbed into yer skull, and it's still there. But now look at you. A scythe wielder that can rival me, and a sword user that can rival Mira." he pushed himself off his wheelchair and onto his feet. "You have potential my friend." reaching behind him, he pulled out his scythe, it unfolded as he brought it out. "But I can't let you kill Mercer. He was a dear friend of mine as well." I sighed. If he won't stop living in the past when I have to end him. I can't let anyone stop me... can I?
I opened my eyes realizing just how far my blood had gotten. Perfect synthesis with the old blood in my veins.
Sam: "I'm sorry old friend. Really I am. LET'S DANCE!" I said, shouting the last part, that has become a habit right before I fight. spinning my scythe, I ran at him charging Garnham, I spun my scythe in many angles for attacks, and in Grenham's old age, he was having trouble keeping up given my speed. Leaping back I drew my hand cannon and fired multiple times which German was able to deflect. All of which would have killed him and sent him back to his world.
I rushed at him with my Flesh-Rever to my side and drew my katana. Slashing my katana just as soon as I drew it, Garnham was forced to take damage thanks to the use of blood arts, a wave of blood heavily damaging the old man since he couldn't block it. He looked up at me, smiling with blood falling from the corner of his mouth. Raising his scythe he stabbed it into the ground and walked back over to his wheelchair.
Alarmed I looked down to my Flesh-rever to see it was gone and only Gehrmans scythe was my option to kill him here and now.
Or... I could leave my old friend be. Looking down at his scythe I thought heavily on the subject.
I walked over to it, wrapping my fingers around the handle and ripped it out of the ground
Examining the blade sighed, and the blade folded sensing that I no longer felt the need to fight Gehrman. Placing it behind my back I walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
Sam: "Good luck, old friend." I said. But before I could leave, Garnham grabbed mine.
Gehrman: "Please... end it. Send me home." he said, begging me. sighing, I reached behind my back drawing out the folded scythe, it unfolded as I pulled it out.
Holding the weapon above my head, I had one last thing to say.
Sam: "Garnham. Good luck back in your world." he chuckled.
Garnham: "Same to you Sam. Same to you." he said smiling. I nodded and brought down the scythe on Garnham, decapitating him, sending his soul back to his world.
Looking down to my side, I was shocked to see Flesh-reaver back. Looking at Garnham's blade I cleaned off the blood, and it folded itself, allowing me to place it behind my back, under my coat.
Sighing I walked past the tree and began to walk away. A single tear shedding for the thought that all of this was for nothing. In the end, Garnham died, and Mercer got away unnoticed again.
