I sneaked down stairs successfuly and left I was basically a pro at this now. It was raining really hard when I left so I had to try my best to run home. I was soaked so I decided to go into the nearest shop which was a coffee shop. I bumped into someone as I was trying to go in and they spilt their coffee all over me. They cleaned up and walked away without apologizing.
"Can this day get any fucking better" I said to myself
One of the workers there came rushing to me she was middle aged woman with blonde hair she was very beautiful considering her age.
"Oh sweetie are you okay." she said with a worried look on her face.
"Yeah I'm fine, thank you I'll just go into the bathroom and clean up." I said to this random stranger. A guy about my age seventeen-eighteen with some black rimmed glasses he looked about 6' with piercing blue eyes and brown hair that was messy he was over all cute but probably a school goody-two shoes or something along those lines, all the sudden appeared behind her.
"We have some spare clothing you should go ahead clean up and get changed into them, your clothes are soaking and you might catch a cold."
"Zach go get her some spare clothing from the back please" she said the guy Zach as he walked away I started at the back of him wondering if I've seen him somewhere before.
They handed me a black sweatshirt and some really big gray sweatpants. I changed out of my now soaked black skin tight dress and jacket.
Into the baggy sweatshirt and pants. I looked at myself in the mirror and fixed up my soaked hair and when I decided that I looked good enough. I left the bathroom. The middle aged woman that I still didn't know her name, was sitting there waiting for me to come out with an umbrella in her hand.
"Sweetie here take this with you" she handed me an umbrella and I kindly took it.
"Thank you I really appreciate" I said and before I left the coffee shop I stole a glance at Zach and found him looking at me but he turned away quickly. I smiled to myself and looked away. Took my umbrella out and left the store walking home knowing I will get the biggest lecture from my mom and if her alcoholic boyfriend son of a bitch is there. I sighed.
