bruce always has trouble sleeping. some nights thor stirs up a thunderstorm outside, gently stroking his boyfriend's dark curls until his breathing becomes deep and even, and he falls asleep.

some nights thor will have a nightmare, and wakes up because bruce is shaking him and gently telling him to take deep breaths/calm down. bruce will usually let thor curl up against his chest, and he whispers soft, comforting words into thor's golden hair. thor buries his face in bruce's chest and finds comfort in being held.

thor loves to watch bruce work in his lab and finds everything he does to be super fascinating, even if it's something that isn't very exciting. he always asks bruce to explain things to him and show him how certain things work. bruce loves being with someone so curious, even though thor can sometimes get in the way of what he's trying to do in the lab.

after turning back into himself, bruce is always exhausted and usually has to sleep for a long time before being able to function again. thor always tucks him into their bed when they get home, and makes sure he eats and takes a long bath after waking up. usually the night after bruce will have nightmares about the destruction he caused as the hulk. thor just presses bruce to his chest and tells him every little thing he loves about him until he becomes relaxed enough to sleep again.
