Chapter 2: #Larcy

*Lukes POV*

"i can't believe she's in my class let alone sitting right next to me! oh my god this could be the start of something" (a/n: high school musical reference ayee) luke thought to himself.

this was the girl he spotted in the courtyard. she had wavy dirty blonde hair mid way down her back, she was 5 foot something and wore skinny jeans (one direction ref lolol srry ill stop dont hate me) and a blink 182 band shirt. which is one of lukes favorite bands. in his mind, she was perfect.

the teachers name was mrs. cox and she had a reputation for being fun. luke knew this was gonna be a great year.

mrs. cox had just finished going over rules and all that jazz like every teacher does on the first day, and she let the students talk amongst themselves and their neighbors to make friends. this was lukes chance to make a move on this girl.

"hey" luke shyly whispered to the girl next to him

"hi" she blushed.

"what's your name beautiful?"

"darcy, what's yours?"

*Darcys POV*

"hey" luke said to darcy

"hi" she replied, beyond blushing at his gorgeousness.

"what's your name beautiful?" he choked out, you could tell he was nervous to talk to her. by this time darcys cheeks were redder than the blush she put on that morning.

"darcy, whats yours?" she smiled. she really wanted to get to know him, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy who just happened to be extremely hot.

"luke" he smiled back.

"oh my god is he really talking to me?? he's soooo gorgeous" darcy thought to herself. she was a typical 17 year old, fangirls, netflixes, loves pizza, the usual teenage girl.

they talked until the end of the class period learning a lot about each other, like that darcy just so happens to like all the same bands as luke. they instantly clicked and compared schedules... they had 3/6 classes together which were home room, math, and athletics.

the bell rang and luke asked for her number, she didnt have paper so he wrote it on the palm of his hand.

*Lukes POV*

"damn." he huffed to himself, trying to recollect everything that just happened. since luke and darcy didn't have next period together he met with mikey... who had a girl around his arm. she sat two seats in front of luke in mrs. cox's class. he didn't know much about her other then her name, which was madelyn, but maddy for short.

mikey introduced maddy and luke and walked off with her, leaving luke alone. he thought whatever, he had a girl too so it all levels out.

mikey was always kind of a ladys man anyway.

next class was language arts then followed by athletics, which luke, calum, mikey, ashton, darcy, and maddy all had together.

before they knew it the bell rang and they headed to athletics.

*Maddys POV*

i walked to the bleachers and sat down next to the girl luke was talking to in mrs. cox's class. she is new here so i thought i would give her the 411 on the school and all the people.

i plopped by down right next to her.

"hey, im maddy. i know you're new here so i thought i would kinda teach you about the place" maddy said, softly, so she didn't push her away... she was always sort of... loud.

"hi, im darcy." she said smiling, "i see the way you look at mikey, you guys would be cute together, hmm how about #makey as your ship name?" both maddy and darcy giggled.

"thanks, you and luke wouldn't look too bad yourself! i'm thinkin larcy? but anyway, this is the gym...clearly. those guys are the druggies, stay away from them at all costs" she stated pointing to a corner of boys dressed in all black, heavily tatted up. "those are the geeks," she started again aiming her finger at the first level on the bleachers "those are the populars," turning around and pointing at the top row of bleachers "they think they're all that and a bag of chips, stay on their good side though, they can destroy your social life in a matter of seconds. and finally theres us," she finished pointing out the rest of the people "we're just cool and dont form any kind of weirdo groups."

*Darcys POV*

"whoa uh thanks for the tips mads" darcy responded trying to remember everything she said. she flipped open her composition notebook and started doodling #larcy in all kinds of different styles and bubbled letters.

*Lukes POV*

"hey darcy!" i called at darcy, shes sitting a few levels down from me, i scooted over and patted the bleaching signaling her to sit there. she got up and made her way over with maddy who sat next to mikey.

"hi" darcy blushed again, dropping her composition book,revealing all the doodles of her and luke. he laughed and smiled at her, showing his perfectly straightened teeth.

after a bit of awkward silence luke spoke up and said "these are my pals, ashton, calum, and you already know mikey" pointing out each one as he called them. darcy smiled and waved at each of them. they all seemed to like her... except ashton, he had a disapproved look on his face. she tried to shake it off.

they talked the period away and luke set up a date with darcy on friday night, he's taking her out to a movie at 7:30.

*Narrator*

the rest of the school day went by fast, darcy made some new friends and hopefully a new boyfriend. luke offered to drive darcy home so he did. they sang along to a greenday cd on the way home. as luke pulled up to the driveway, he kissed darcy on the cheek and said "see you tomorrow" with a huge smile on his face. darcy hopped out of the car and ran inside.

*Darcys POV*

"MOM! you will not believe what happened today!"

she explained the whole day including her date with luke friday night, her and her mom were like bestfriends. they had a very strong relationship and told each other everything. naturally, her mom was happy for her.

darcy hopped in the shower and texted luke all night long. they flirted and we're acting as if theyve been dating forever.

she saw something outside her window so she went to go take a look, suddenly a black van pulled into her driveway...what the?
