Hello there Mr. Socially Awkward (Niam)

Chapter 6

The following week has been good and bad for me.

It's been bad because of the fact that Niall still forgave Zayn is less than a day and I always see them cuddling in the hallways.

But I am happy that somehow, my social life has improved thanks to Niall. I now sit at a table with Dani, Niall, Zayn, Harry and Louis. 

"I still can't believe Niall forgave Zayn" I scoffed, leaning against a locker, waiting for Dani to fix hers. Danielle sighed and said "neither do I but get over it Liam, Niall will finally break up with him one day"

I pouted "I know, but still" I felt someone cover my eyes "guess who?" I grinned "Louis" Louis finally let go and I turned around to see him pouting. I chuckled.

I sort of appreciate Harry and Louis now. I guess Louis is the playful one who keeps their relationship cute and Harry's the seductive flirt who keeps their relationship sexy.

Despite Harry having a constant addiction to PDA and Louis having a starge addiction to pissing people off, they still love each other to bits.

Why can't Niall and I be like that? My subconscious laughed. You and Niall? Like that? Hell you're not even together.

I asked Louis "Where's Harry and the others?" Louis smiled "I think Haz is in the library with Niall, they have to do something for History and Zayn....I don't know" his face fell, his eyes were cold "hopefully Zayn's not off with another person"

Dani and I slowly agreed.

The gloomy vibes were interrupted by Louis saying "how about we go vist Haz and little Nialler?" I looked at Dani and nodded. I couldn't help but chuckled though. Nialler. Such an adorable nickname.

We walked along the hallways and finally, into the huge library.

We saw Niall and Harry beside each other, hunched over a bunch of books, carefully and slowly, Louis walked over to them and went right behind Harry who still didn't notice.

Louis grinned and hugged Harry from behind and gave him a small peck on the cheek. Harry jumped in surprise but he smiled as soon as he realized it was Louis.

Niall jumped in his seat in surprise too as he realized Louis was there. He smiled at the happy couple and sighed, as if he was sad.

I sighed too. Danielle said "bet you wish you and Niall were like Louis and Harry huh?" I nodded "yeah. But I bet that Niall wishes it was him and Zayn" Danielle rolled her eyes "whatever. Let's go to them."

I nodded in agreement, anything to get closer to Niall.

Niall smiled as he saw us and  maybe it was my imagination, but I think Niall's eyes sort of lighted up. Making them even more bright and beautiful. 

I smiled back. I heard Dani mutter "ugh. Maybe I should get a boyfriend soon" and I couldn't help but chuckle.

I sat down across Niall and Dani sat right beside me. I smiled "how are you?" Niall shrugged and groaned "stupid history. I can barely understand a thing!" I chuckled "don't worry! You'll get it soon." Niall smiled and said "thanks" then looked at Dani to say hello.

"I think Niall likes you" Dani said, looking me straight in the eye. If I was drinking something, I would have spitted it out immediately.

"Doon't make jokes Dani" Danielle rolled her eyes "I can see it idiot!" and I just rolled my eyes as well.

We were at the only class Danielle and I have together alone. No Niall, sadly. And no cute couples occasionally making out.

I said "He has Zayn" Dani said "not for long. Zayn's bound to cheat on Niall again, I can feel it. I'm just waiting for Niall to find out again. I doubt he's gonna give him another chance."

I looked at Dani "why are you so obsessed with this Niall and Zayn thing" Danielle sighed and said "I just want you to be happy Liam, I rarely see you happy but every time you're with Niall, I don't know, It's like every single problem in the world disappears for you."

I couldn't help but smile "Thanks Dani" Dani smiled back "anything for you Li" I leaned over to Dani and gave her hand a soft squeeze and she laughed in return.

She became serious again but not too much "So, we just have to observe Zayn and see if he's having any other affairs." I nodded.

The teacher came and we just concentrated on the discussin, I couldn't help but smile though. It's not everyday you find a friend like Dani. 

She even sacrificed her social life so hang out with a loser like me. Just like Niall and Louis and Harry. Maybe even Zayn but I don't think he likes me that much.

"You seem happy?" I turned around as I was fixing my locker, my tummy did a backflip as I realized it was Niall. I shrugged "just happy that Dani's my bestfriend and that you guys actually hang out with me."

Niall laughed and smiled "It's really nice to hang out with someone a bit more quiet. Unlike Louis and Harry" I smiled and looked down as I blushed.

I heard another voice say "Hi babe" and as I looked up again, Zayn gave Niall a kiss on the lips. My subconscious wanted to punch Zayn in the face and flip him off. 

Niall smiled "Hey Zayn" Zayn looked at me and gave me a small nod which I returned.

I turned around as Zayn wrapped his arms around Niall. I can't bare to watch them, there's a pain in my chest and I'm not sure why.

Zayn muttered "let's go baby" and Niall must have agreed because he said "see you later Liam!" I looked at Niall and smile quickly.

As soonas they left, my good modd was suddenly gone.
