I am Wendy Van Camp, Poet Laureate Emerita (Anaheim 2022-2024). A dynamic voice in speculative poetry, blending cutting-edge technology, astronomy, and daydreams, my talent has earned nominations for the Elgin Award, Pushcart Prize, and Dwarf Stars Award. My poems, stories, and articles grace journals worldwide such as "Star*Line," "Scifaikuest," and "San Diego Poetry Annual." I regularly contribute to "Indy Author Magazine" as a contracted freelancer.
I am an active essayist and poet on Medium. I also give workshops on author/artist platform and poetry at science fiction conventions across the United States. I have been a working artist for over twenty five years and bring that marketing experience with me as a writing coach.
