This One

It's the nighttime, all of the digidestined are fast asleep. Only one is awake, Kari. She gets up to go get a drink from the river. The water is cold, and the sound of the water makes the moment slightly melancholy.

She sits down next to the river, sitting, as if waiting for something, anything, to happen. Above is a hill, Sheepmon grazing, in the dark vast night. When she finishes, she doesn't know what to do. She wonders about Celeste, she had communicated to her parents to care for her while she was gone.

Now? She stands, staring at the night sky. She goes into her tent and lays down. She sits there for a second before falling asleep, right next to her soon to be husband.

Kari's POV

I wake up with everyone gone. I hear arguing as well. I decide not to look what's happening outside and TRY to go back to sleep.

BOOM!

I get dressed and start grunting. "ALRIGHT, WHO DARES PENETRATE MY BEAUTY SLEEP?!" Hanoko yells. I see Daniel with a black face along with Leormon, next to them is Hiroshi is laughing his *cuss word* off. "What happened?" I ask Daniel. "Uhm, Leormon and I were training, but, Hiroshi distracted Leormon, and something near us blew up."

Now that it's over, I'm going back to sleep.

                                                                                                               Daniel's POV

Leormon and I go sit down by the river that is near our campsite. I can hear T.K. instructing everyone of what to do. Before we came to the digital world, I had been researching about what the last digidestined did. It's actually interesting. "Daniel, you know that time I smelled blood in your room?" Leormon asks me. I froze. "U-u-uh, y-yeah. W-what a-about it?" I ask him. "I smelled it again.."

"Alright, now that we've cleaned up, it's time to get a move on!" T.K. says. We start heading North with T.K. and Kari leading. Since I'm in the back, they wouldn't notice if I evaded.. I grab Leormon and sneak off to a nearby lake.

"Ahh, this is the life." I say as I look at a Leormon playing in the water.
