"Great shoot today guys!" I say
"Thanks babe" Noah says as he walk over to me and kisses my cheek
"So, we should do something" He says
"Like what?" I say
"I don't know, we never hangout like we used to. Just you me.. and Sam" he says
"I heard my name?" Sam says walking over to us
"Yeah, we were talking about doing something later, you in?" I say
"I actually have plans with..." he starts
"Oh.. that's ok" I say
"I would cancel but she insisted on picking me up and she's almost here so..." he says
"Nah it's cool dude, more fun for us" Noah laughs
He always tried to make the mention of Lauren less awkward and unbearable for me and Sam, it always helped for a second at least.
"Whatever, sorry" Sam laughs
"It's fine, I should probably work on the movie a bit anyways" I say
"What?!" Noah whines
"Sam?" One of the assistances says
"Yeah?" He calls back
"There's a Lauren here for you" She says
"Oh ok tell her I'm coming" Sam says
"No need" Lauren says as she walks toward us
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. For the first time in 2 years I was once again seeing Lauren Jauregui. As she got closer to us time felt slower, but I was prepared for her successful ass this time because this time, I was also successful.
"Hey.. Lauren" Sam stutters
"Hey Sami... and y/n" she says. "Hey Noah, good to see you again" She says
"Like wise" he smiles
Noah starred in a music video of hers about a year ago.
"We need to do a shot again sometime, my fans love you" She says
"The world loves him" Sam adds
"Yeah Mr. the internet's boyfriend" Lauren jokes
By now I had tuned out the conversation. She was pretty much ignoring me anyways.
"Wow" Lauren says as she looks around the set. "You've moved up in the world y/nn" she says catching my attention
"Yeah I have" I say
"What was it? A couple years ago when you were banging on my door begging for somewhere to stay for the night?" She smirks
"Yep..." I say
"She's even getting Oscar buzz, isn't that amazing" Sam says trying to ease the tension
"I guess" Lauren scoffs
"... Yeah Lauren. A possible Oscar, a few Golden Globes, couple Emmy's and I even won a Grammy for a song I wrote, what about you?" I say crossing my arms.
I knew that would hurt her, it was her dream to win a Grammy.
"You haven't changed at all" she laughs
"Oh my God neither have you" I say rolling my eyes
"So...we should probably go" Noah says
"Oh where are you guys going?" Lauren asks
"I don't know, I was hoping the beach?" Noah says as he turns towards me
"Sounds like fun, can we come?" Lauren says
