"Hey" Lauren says as I close my car door
"Hey?" I say
It was the first day of making this falsified bullshit- I mean biopic and, although it was filled with complete lies I was kind of excited to get back to work.
"You watching me?" I laugh
"Umm you parked next to me" She laughs
"So? Are we civilized today or?" I say
"That depends" she says
"On what?" I say
"Is one of those coffees in your hand mine?" She smiles
"Well, no" I say. "I take my coffee in two cups, figured it was gonna be a long day"
"Oh" she says
"I'm joking" I laugh handing her a cup
"Hey girls, find your name tag and have a seat" he smiles
"Umm, we're not sitting together?" Lauren asks
"No? I thought you probably wouldn't want to..." Ramon whispers
"No I'm fi-" Lauren starts
"Yeah it's pro-" I start
"Or did you-" I start
"Yeah it's-" Lauren starts
"No if you wanted-" I start
"It's fine" Lauren says
"...Ok cool" Ramon smiles
"Y/n over here" Nicole smiles as she points to the seat next to her
"You've got to be fucking kidding me" Lauren says under her breath
"Hey Nicole" I smile
"Hey" she smiles

"So welcome everybody!" Ramon says. "Welcome to the first table read"
"Hey guys I'm Lauren and this is our director Y/n" Lauren says. "Thank you for being here and we can't wait to start this journey with you"
"Yeah what she said" I smile
Lauren was directly across from me and Nicole and I could sense she hated every second of it.
"Can I have a sip of that?" Nicole asks me
One thing I learned about Nicole was that she hated the silence. Every opportunity she got to speak, she spoke.
"Umm Yeah sure?" I say
"Thanks" she says
"Y/n" Lauren says
"Yeah-" I start
"So how'd you end up being the director?" Nicole asks
"Uh I was contacted by-" I start
"Y/n" Lauren calls again
"Ye-" I start
"By Who Ramon?" Nicole says
"Yeah he-" I start
"Y/n" Lauren says again
"So he's kinda like running the show then" Nicole says
"Yeah kinda" I say
"Y/n" Lauren says once more
"Are you close with him or is it more like a boss type of relationship?" Nicole asks
"CAN EVERYONE SHUT UP!" Lauren yells
And just like that everything was quiet... everyone except Nicole.
"I bet he's a cool boss" Nicole says
"Nicole?" Lauren says
"Yeah?" Nicole smiles
"Shut up." Lauren says
"Oh sorry" Nicole says
"Lo what's up?" I say
"...This coffee you gave me sucks." She says
"Umm... Shall we start?" Ramon says
