PROLOGUE:
A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS"YOU CAN'T KEEP doing this to yourself Killian!" Sam exclaimed voice filled to the nonexistent brim with worry, after having caught his room mate and bestfriend about to walk off the top of a building, again.
"I d-deserve to die Sammy, 'M a m-monster" sobbed out the broken teenager, throat still bruised and raw from his last failed attempt a couple weeks ago, as the taller male ushered him into their shared dorm in the law campus of Stanford. Where Killian was studying to be, well, something law related, Sam wasn't entirely sure what yet.
"You're not a monster Kill! Trust me I would be the first to know if you were!" shouted Sam, not even acknowledging his slip up about the family business, as the stress caused by the nights events finally boiled over, he recalled past transgressions with his family before he had finally managed to escape that lifestyle by running away to Stanford.
Just as he was about to expand on their argument there was a firm knocking at the door that they had just walked through not even minutes before.
"What the hell?" questioned the tall brunette boy as he looked over to the electric alarm clock on the other side of the dark living area, eyebrows further furrowing themselves as he saw that the time read 2:30㏂
"Go to bed Kill, I'll go see who's at the door" ordered the youngest Winchester protectively, watching steadily as his young prodigy best friend that he may or may not have been steadily falling for, followed his orders and glumly made his way over to his bedroom door to take a quick shower and most likely roll himself up in bed to have a crying session.
Just as Sam shifted to turn back in the direction of the apartments entry hall another knock sounded through the apartment, this one slightly more aggressive than the first.
"Alright, Alright! I'm coming," yelled the twenty-two year old law student as he stomped, fed up, over to the entry hall and swung the door open, mouth dropping comically as he came face to face with his older brother, the one and only, Dean Winchester.

"Hey Sammy!" the oldest of the Winchester brothers greeted his brother throatily, his biggest shit eating grin on display and eyes scrunching up so hard they were basically closed.
"Dean! I- , w-what the hell are you doing here?" questioned the flabbergasted taller of the Winchester brothers.
"Well hello to you too." the hunter replied sarcastically as he pushed past his shocked baby brother, only by four years, and invited himself in.
