Ann and the secret painting

Chapter eight : It's been so long

So I knocked the door and the door opened , and can you guess who opened it ? , it was my father as in my father , you might think "what's so surprising about that , it's just a father who came to visit his daughter".

But you know , I only saw my father three years ago , I was born when Dad was away , and he didn't come until I was three , he stayed for four weeks , and those four weeks where the best in my life.

My father is a very cheerful person , I told myself that there's no wonder Mom loved him , his personality alone is something that attracts others , so when I saw him I was kind of surprised .

So as I said before he opened the door and said in a cheerful voice "welcome dear".

I was really shocked when I saw him , so in shocked voice , or in a shocked toon I said "oh , I'm back".

He opened his arms , so I thought [does he want me to jump in his arms?], But there's no way I would do that , it's embarrassing , and there's no way I would do it in front of Mr Liven.

But he gave me a smile , I would be so cruel if I ignored him , wouldn't I ??, is what I thought .

But he really had a big smile on his face , so I had no other choice but to jump in his arms , so I said "Daddy !! , it's been so long".

Then Mr Levin said "sorry to ruin your happy reunion , but I would like to talk with Miss Ann's guardian if possible".

So dad whispered in my ear and said "Ann ,who is that?".

So I had to introduce them to one another, "so then Mr liven this is my father , and father this is Mr levin , he is one of my previous competition judges".

Dad told Mr Levin, "it's a pleasure to meet you" and Mr Levin answered him "yes , the pleasure is mine" dad took Mr Levin to the guestroom and he told me "Ann go call your mother , please".

I told him "yes, right away" , so I went up stairs to call mom and overhead her say in a super sad voice "I am so sorry Lona , I couldn't do it".

I never saw my mom this sad , I told my self back then " who on earth is Lona , to be able to make my mom this sad , she must be something" .

Any ways I opened the door, and mom was right in front of me , and she was really angry, I mean you can't blame her , I think I heard something I shouldn't have.

Mom said in an angry voice "you're late , what took you so long ??,where were you ?".
