The thing is, the best part of cheating is giving them a taste of their own medicine. In this case, you started staying out later than Lui. After all, you needed to work on your first single. "Back to Black" was coming along nicely. The chorus was almost finished, and you had started to move along to the second verse. One night you walked in long past 12 AM, dropping your satchel and almost making it to the stairs before you heard a familiar voice.

"Nice of you to come by. I would've expected you to stay at Zac's." Lui said coldly.

"Listen, Lui," You said, rubbing your temples. "I just wanna sleep."

"Oh,  well I would be sceptical of sleeping with a cheater." Lui said. That pissed you off.

"Ha, you're one to talk! You stay out past when I come back with that girl you claim to be training, but we all know you're not. You pretend not to, but you leave your phone wide open!" You yelled. 

"That's a lie!" Lui screamed back.

"Oh, of course it is!" You screeched. 

"Jesus Christ, you're impossible!" He yelled back. 

"Who are you, Lui? What happened to you?" You screamed, tears rolling down your cheeks. 

"Who are you?! You're the only one who changed, (Y/N)!" Lui howled. You could see his sharp teeth clenching. Lui picked up a plate from the coffee table and threw it to the ground, it shattering against the ground. You jumped, shrieking. 

"Oh, my god..." Lui whispered, reaching out for you. You shuffled from his touch.

"I'm leaving." You said, walking out of the house and onto the street.  A loud sob emanated from the door and you looked back to see the crumpled form of a boy in grief in the doorway. 

"PLEASE."  Lui sobbed, begging you to come back. You looked back. 

"I'm sorry." You whispered to nobody before running down the street into the darkness.
