Road Trip

This is really long im probably going to keep adding parts to this because I really like it. Anyway shout out to my friend bc she gave me the prompt that started it so thank you friend!

"Do we really have to bring the love birds?" I ask while shoving my bag into the seat of the mini van Laff and Herc rented.
"Oh hush it Jackie, Alex is your friend so is Thomas" James my bf and soulmate says
"Yeah John -how you say?- chill mon amis" Laff says
"I just dont want them making out the whole time you know" I say grinning. I'm just poking fun at them Alex has been my best friend since forever. Herc throws in the final bags and we all pile in the car heading to Thomas's and Alex's house. When we get there we see them waving goodbye to Phillip, their adopted son. Who is going to stay with Martha and George. After they are done they throw their bags in the back they hop in.
"Hey guys! How have been?" I ask
"Good good! Did we tell you? Pip won the poetry contest in his class!" Alex says with a smile.
"Thats so cool!" I say we start to drive to California.

James was leaning on John. Alex was leaning on me. Laff was in the passenger seat and Herc was driving. We were watching a movie. I think Alex fell asleep. I was playing with Alex's hair. I was excited to be going to l.a. It was kind of like me and Alex's honeymoon.Alex grumbled something then shot up
"Thomas! Did we forget something is Pip alright?!?" He says while gripping my hand
"Lex hun, chill. Pips fine he's with your parents and we didn't forget anything" I say calming him down
"Right, right everything's going to be fine" he says he continues to watch the movie soon we reach a gas station and we switch drivers

Alex is in the passenger seat. Laff, herc, john, and james in the back.

At this point we are like halfway through Pennsylvania. Then a rap song only me and Laff know
"LAFAYETTE!"
"I'm taking this horse by the reins making red coats redder with bloodstains!"
"LAFAYETTE!"
"And im never gonna stop till i make em drop and scatter the remains!"
"LAFAYETTE!"

"LAFAYETTE!" Soon the song is over and we are laughing and singing along to whatever comes onto the radio. A little while later everyone has fallen asleep and Thomas and I are the only two awake.
"Do you want to stop by to see your sister and mom 
in Virginia, Tommy?" I ask, his mom and sister were very nice but his dad not so much.
"Yeah! If everyone else is ok with it Lexi Rexi." He says holding my hand and driving with the other hand. I held his hand back and we sat in a peaceful silence before I fell asleep.

I wake up drowsy and with a slight headache. I groan accidentally waking up John.
"Whats wrong Jems" he asks tiredly.
"Did you pack the advil"
"Yeah,Do you have a headache?"
"Mhm" he reaches for a bag and hands me a small bottle
"Thanks Jackie" I say after popping two pills in my mouth and taking a drink of water.
"No problem Jems" he says kissing the top of my head.

I'm looking out the window when Herc scared me
"MERDE HERC WTF!!"
"HOLY FUCK LAFF DO NOT SCARE ME LIKE THAT" Thomas practically yells from the driver seat.
"Sorry sorry" herc says
"Its ok, your fine Herc" I say leaning into his lap. He smiles and pats my fluffy bun.

After Herc scared Laff we pull up at a small little town to walk around and relax, i give my guys the signal and pull James off too a little clearing and drop to one knee, i almost fall over. As you might be able to tell im extremely nervous.
"Uhm *coughs* James, I would have never expected you to be my soulmate but I'm so so happy that you are. There are so many things about you that are- you know what I didnt even write this Alex did" i shot him a glance and he gave me a thumbs up "well heres my version. James I like you alot so will you marry me?" I ask
"YES YES YES!" He says "yes you big lovable idiot!" He says hugging me.
