Chapter Six

Lucian's POV
(don't expect that huh?)

My brother Harvey asked me to come and visit for a bit sense his friend was getting married. I'm happy for the groom but sad for myself. About three years back I met a girl. I have her dog tag and she has mine but I think she forgot about me.

The doctors told me that she might forget a lot of people but I was wondering if I'll be one of them. I never told her, I think she started to find out or maybe still has no clue. Anyways I'm getting side tracked, I got to go meet my brother and his friend. To bad I made it the night before the wedding so I didn't get to actually meet Adam.

I heard about his daughter though. That they met her and again after 5 years of her being gone. She like 22 or 23 now? Eh don't care I just have to make it through the wedding and I'm done. Harvey got me a tux for the wedding and I sat down on Adams side of the alter.

I'm here to support the happy couple and there found daughter. I completely spaced out for what seemed hours until my eyes landed on a girl. She seemed so familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it. Cheers erupted from the crowd and I barely managed to comprehend that Adam kissed the bride.

My eyes were glued onto this girl for some reason. When she turned and faced the happy couple leaving I saw her eyes and her necklace. Her grey eyes and her necklace which has a dog tag on it. Is that Lyth?!?!?

Seto's POV

I noticed my brother eyeing Lyth but he seemed to have known her by the way he looked at her. He snapped out of the trance when he saw me looking at him. I sent him a glare of her protection. Lyth was like a sister to me and I don't want her to get hurt. I'm like Skylar now, sky takes care of lyth and I take care of my brother.

Lyth looked over at me with a smile but soon faded and followed my gaze. When she looked over at Lucian her smile returned. I'm guessing they know each other's. I looked at sky and she gave me the 'do you know' look. I shook my head. We were going to have to find out about this later.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Mitch with an angry glare sent right at Lucian. Wait is Mitch jealous? Why is he jealous, I mean he has a girlfriend and he is the one who caused the relationship to end with Lyth. Maybe this will be payback for what he did to her.

Sky and I found out that Lucian and Lyth were buds back when they were in the marines together. She also explained that he knows about her secret. Know that we have that cleared, sky and I walked around outside away from people.

"Luce told me about a bombing" I broke the silence. "Yea Lyth took most of the impact and she can't remember some people but I'm helping her. I'm just glad she can't remember Mitch that well, speaking of which where is he" she asked. "Don't worry I have Jerome watching him" I assured her.

I know Mitch and I know that when he's jealous he will do anything. I looked at sky and she gave me a small grin. During the time that I knew her 5 years ago I would never have brought up the courage to ask her out. Now I can. "S-sky" I asked a bit shaky.

"Yea Harvey" she asked soothingly. "I was wondering if y-you'd like to g-go out with me" I studdered. She seemed surprised but a huge grin crossed her face. "I'd like that and I think you and your brother can stay over if ya want" she suggested. There was no way in hell that I was going to turn that down. Besides I have to know where they live just in case anything happens.

"Yea sure" I smiled at her. We hung out for a while until it started to get late and I noticed Mitch trying to get Jerome off his tail but it wasn't working what so ever. I walked over to Lucian and Lyth who were sitting at a table talking. "Hey bro" Lucian noticed me come over.

"Hey Luce, oh before I forget were sleeping at sky and lyth's house for the night" I stated. Lyth had a small grin on her face and Lucian just seemed happy overall. I saw Mitch escape Jerome's sight and was walking over to us. "Hey Lyth" he smiled. "Uh hi do I know you?" She asked, sky told me that she still knew him maybe she was using this as an advantage.

"Lyth it's me Mitch" he seemed hurt. "Mitch she can't remember you she lost most of her memory during a bombing incident" Lucian stated knowing what lyth's intentions are. Mitch seemed surprised and hurt but I could see determination on his face. "Lyth come on you have to remember me I'm your boyfriend" he tried to convince her.

She thought for a moment before looking at me. "Is that true" she asked already knowing the answer. "No he's your ex boyfriend he cheated on you about 5 years back" I explained. Mitch gave me a pissed off scowl but turned around and left. "Thank god he left" Lyth sighed. "Yea I think staying at your house tonight is a good thing" Lucian put his arm around lyth's shoulders and Lyth didn't move them she seemed surprised at first but relaxed.
