Chapter twenty-eight

Skylar's POV
I've been getting an odd feeling that I don't know something. When we got home Zeek looked mad and Cy was comforting Rosie, I asked Jordan and the guys but they didn't say anything. Lyth for some reason started to feel drowsy ever sense she told Mitch about lying.

I walked over to the kids who were just sitting around talking. "Hey guys, look can I ask what happened earlier?" I hoped that they would tell me. "Sorry but no can do sky, it's something we don't want you guys to be involved with" Zeek stated grabbing his coke. "You wanted to know what was in that bottle, well that's lyth's magic that she couldn't hold anymore" he spat out his coke and Cy jumped up. "So it's true! Zeek you not the only one anymore" Cy yelled his head off.

I was confused to the max. "Uh, okay, wait what do you mean 'not the only one'" I crossed my arms. They looked at each other before Rosie spoke. "Zeek has magic too" she managed. Lyth, with the super hearing, ran down stairs. "Please tell me I didn't hear that right" she begged. "What, is me having magic a bad thing" Zeek practically yelled angrily.

"It's not bad, but there are people looking for me, scientist and my uncle, the man you met earlier is working for them. Now he knows you have this and he will look for you to get to me" she came to realize the facts. He looked at her with a blank face. One question popped up in my brain. Where is he?

I shrugged it off but smiled to myself. "Why you" he cocked his head sideways. "She developed all her powers, you haven't yet" I added trying to not smirk. He sat down and looked back up at her. "What can you do?" Rosie budded in. "She can change into half dragon, and has elemental powers" I cut off Lyth before she said anything.

"An animal? Man I don't have one yet" Zeek muttered. "Maybe because it has something to do with the different genders" Cy thought outloud. "Wait, how do you know about your uncle being here" I looked at Lyth. "One power I thought I'd never use, telepathy" she sat down next to Zeek, but he moved away a bit. "Okay cool, ya never told me that, but are we sure this is the old fart that caused us to leave home?"

"WAIT, he caused you to leave home?" Kevin popped his head in. "How in the world..." I started. "Don't worry, now what's going on" he demanded. "Not much ya Asian duck, just the fact that we are being hunted again" I shrugged, he nodded and left. (I called him an Asian because I got no clue what he is, and yes I didn't put duck in there).

"And this is why we left, they wouldn't have understood anything" Lyth sighed setting her head on her hands, seeming to be pissed. Zeek and Cy moved closer to her until they hugged her. "So what now" Rosie asked eating a potato chip. "We have two options, option one we can leave and go back into hiding, option two we can fight" Lyth gave us our options. "FIGHT" I plus the kids yelled at her. Oh this was going to be a long as ride.
