Chapter 1.....

Sapphire's P.O.V
I woke up to a loud banging on my room door "wake up you dirty no good girl its time to make breakfast!!!" I groaned inwardly as I heard my step mother yell at me "OK I'm up"I said through clenched teeth. I'm not one to answer back to them because I know there would be consequences of that.
I live with my step mom and my dad but you guessed it ,I'm not they're favourite person right now or ever .I went downstairs and started making breakfast when the devil himself waltzed in "morning brat!" He said seethingly "morning dad"I forced out "why is my breakfast not ready?"he asked while taking dangerous steps towards me"i-i"I stammered while taking steps back "you what?!" he yelled at me while raising his hand to hit me "dad please-'' I was cut off by his fist connecting with my cheek and stumbled back because of the force "i-i'm s-sorry" I cried while I fell to the ground in tears "this better not happen again" he said after giving me a few kicks and walking out the door.after awhile I went up to my room sobbing "how could my father do this to his only child"I thought frustrated, angry,sad and depressed I then went to get something to wear to school . I looked in the mirror attached to my closet door,seeing a girl that was once cheerful and happy but now sad,abused and lonely, all because of one accident. If only mom was here.

I decided on wearing high waist jeans ,oversized sweater and to finish it off with a black and white adidas. After getting dressed I grabbed my bag and began walking to school because its just a five minute walk,I arrived at school and was fiddling with my locker when the bell rang,I was about to close my locker when my favourite journal fell and just as I was about to pick it up my forehead collided with someone else's "ouch" I said as I looked up and saw none other than the bad boy of Dexter High School trey Jackson "oh no this can't be good" i mumbled.
