Sapphire's P.O.V
Later on that night I was texting amber on my new phone when my father started pounding on my door

"Sapphire where the hell is my money!"he yelled while trying to push open the door and I hid my phone

"i-i don't have any money-"he cut me off

"liar I know that you stole my $500 from my wallet!!"he yelled as he finally kicked my door down and to say he looks angry is an understatement he walked up to me and grabbed me by my hair and I winced in pain

"where the hell is my money!"he yelled while kneeing me in my stomach multiple times

"answer me you stupid child!"he yelled while throwing me into the wall and I hit my head hard all I could do at that moment was cry and dad continued beating me until I passed out. The next day I woke up in agonizing pain and couldn't move I just lie there and sobbed

"mom why? why did you leave me?  I miss you so much mom I really do"I said as I sobbed lowly.

*flashback *
"Sapphire honey where are you?"mom asked as she looked for me and I started giggling "rarrrrr!!found you" she said as she picked me up and spun me around and I started laughing"mommy promise me that I'll always be your baby?"I asked while staring at her intently"of course you'll always be my baby now and forever"she said while holding out her pinkie finger and I held mine out as well.

*end of flashback *

After a while I got up and crawl towards the shower and took a long tiresome bath then put on an oversized sweater and sweatpants then crawled into bed *ping*
My phone went off and I took it up to see a message from amber

My smile😁: "hey are you OK?"

Me👸:"yeah I'm fine ;)"

My smile😁:"saph he did it again didn't he"

Me:"I'm fine I promise👌"

My smile:"I swear to god I'll kill him with my bare hands💨💨"

Me:" you always know how to make me smile amber 😆"

My smile:"Ikr that's why I'm your bff😋"

Me:"lyt (love you totes)text you later😘"

My smile:"lymtyt (love you more than you think)ok 😘😚"

I smiled and went to bed afterwards knowing that I had to get enough sleep for my beatings later.

*around 5pm*
I woke up and went to the kitchen to prepare my dads dinner since now that my step mom's on a business trip she won't be back till the next two weeks.For dinner I decided on making steak and white rice after preparing I went straight back to my room and started repairing the locks on my room,then went to eat the stash of chocolates that I bought earlier in the week "mmmhh"I moaned as the chocolaty goodness touched my tongue

"Fire you know its rude to moan openly"
someone said and I jumped and fell off the bed

"what the hell Trey what are you doing here!"I yelled after I recovered from my fall

"came to look for my fire"he replied while finish climbing through my window

"If my dad catch you here he'll freak!"I said as I started to panic

"hey hey he won't OK I'll make sure he doesn't "he said while looking me dead in the eyes and I started to relax

"so...how did you know where I live?"I asked after taking a bite out of another chocolate

"I asked around"he replied with a shrug

"OK what are you doing here?"I asked again

"I wanted to see you because I know we hardly talk at school "he said

"because you are too busy being you and I'm too busy being me...."I replied sadly

"don't worry Fire you'll be seeing a lot of me from now on"he said with a smirk and my face heated up
"Is fire...blushing?"he asked while teasing me and I hide my face in my pillow

"no I'm not"I muffled through the pillow

"Sapphire who are you talking to!!"I heard my dad yell while coming up the stairs and I started to panic

"um no one "I said while I tried to hide Trey

"get in the closet now"I whisper-yelled and he did as I said and just in time before my dad bursted into my room....
