"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bump into your um....forehead"Trey said and I stared at him utterly confused "um...that's OK "I said while picking up my diary and rushing towards class.....oops I'm late....again"good morning ms.kings I see that you're late....again"the teacher said while glaring at me "I'm sorry miss it won't happen again"I said while giving her an apologetic look "I know it wont ....detention after school now find your seat!"she said while turning to write on the board and I sighed defeatedly and went to my seat which was at the back of the class "OK class today we have a new student she'll now introdue herself so settle down"said miss.Daniels. I saw a really pretty girl walked in with bright brown hair and light blue eyes truly I was mesmerized by her beauty
*not that I can compete with her*
My mind kept telling me "hello my name is Amber Rodriguez I'm 16 and I just moved here from California" she said nervously
"OK ms.Rodriguez you can take a seat beside ms.kings around the back" ms.Daniels said before turning back to face the board.after a while I felt someone sit beside me"hi,name's amber but you can call me whatever you choose"she said while smiling at me "you're talking to me?"I asked while pointing to myself "of course you silly" she said while gently shoving my shoulder "oh um...I'm sapphire"I said while smiling at her "I think I'll call you saph"she said while turning to the board with a big smile plastered across her face and I smiled to myself before turning back towards the board. Seems like I just found myself a new friend.
*Lunch*
I walked into the cafeteria and went to my usual seat and took out my nature valley and a bottle of water and started eating "hey!can I sit with you??"amber asked while smiling brightly "um...sure"I said while she plopped down beside me and started eating a pizza and orange juice "so why aren't you sitting with any friends?"she asked "don't have any"I replied simply "oh...well I can be your friends or maybe best friends"she said as her eyes lit up and I chuckled "OK " I replied with a big smile. *ringgg* the bell rung to signify the end of lunch "see you later?"she asked "can't have detention" I said as I stood up "you? For what reason?"she asked amused "arrived late " I replied bluntly "I can see that you're not much of a talker"she said as we walked to our next class "I guess so I don't really have any friends so I just stick to myself" I replied "you know that's the first long sentence you've ever exchanged with me I feel honoured" she stated matter a fact "OK I guess I'll have to try harder" I said as I walked into my class and waved goodbye to amber "we'll see"she shouted back and continued down the hall.
*after school*
I went straight to detention after school but it was not as I expected. The teacher was sleeping and everyone was talking and I also saw trey dexter "hey never thought i'd see you in detention"he exclaimed which caused his friends to look at me "um...I guess you could say so"I replied while sitting at the front of the class "so what's your name"he asked "sapphire" I replied
"Nice name fire"he said and I turned to face him "fire?" I asked him "yeah shorter for sapphire that's too long"he stated while smiling at me "well I don't like it so change it"I said "nope "he stated and I sighed in defeat "OK suit yourself"I replied and turned back around the rest of detention was mainly trey trying to make small convo with me and me ignoring most of them and finally detention was over....
