Chapter 38

THE NEXT DAY...
Y/N'S POV...

"Are you sure about your decision Kookie?" I asked the person infront of me who was eating his breakfast. "Of course Y/n stop asking me now...I know you will do great...I remember when we were in Highschool, you were the one who orginazed everything for me because I couldn't haha"

He was amused by what he remembered but on the other side was me who got more serious after hearing his words. "You remember that?" I asked knitting my eyebrows in curiosity on which he nodded with a wide smile.

"Yes!...that's Why I choose you as my private assistant...i noticed that my memory is coming back faster then I thought haha"

Why didn't I liked his words which he was saying to me?. Why did it actually hurt now to realise that he is getting his memory back?. Maybe because I'm used to this Jungkook now. I don't want to lose him... I don't want the dork back who he was before.

A yelling voice brought me back into reality. "Don't dream...you don't want to be late for your first day right?" He said and left the house walking to his car.

I shrugged the thoughts which I had away, stood up and made my way to the car were inside of it Jungkook was waiting impatiently like a small kid.

The whole ride he was the one who talked and I was the one who keeped scilens. Somehow this all was to much for me but I couldn't manage to say that to him right into his face.

Soon we reached his office building and I slowly made my way out of the car. Standing now right infront of this huge building infront of me, i gulped in fear but soon calmed down as I feelt his hand on my shoulder.

A calming smile was on his shining face which let me forget all the fears I had some seconds ago. "Don't worry...I will be there for you the whole time" he said which made me nod in acceptance and look back to this huge building of which I wasn't afraid anymore.

Jungkook told me his whole plan in the car and as he said earlier I stood there and saw how he made his way to his office.

Of course it should look like that he doesn't know me so no one could make up any stories and ruin the company. After five minutes I found enough strength to go inside of this building.

The receptionist was really kind as I asked for Jungkook's office but the eyes which stared at me was giving me a hard time to focus on the main part which I still had to do now.

Managing somehow to get in an elevator, I breathed out in relieve and calmed myself before the real show still had to be done now. I didn't wanted to do that but I kept on saying to myself that I'm doing this for him and if that helps him then I would do everything for him.

After exciting the elevator I made my way to his office and soon I could see a girl sitting next to the office on her own table like a receptionist. I knew this was the girl Jungkook was talking about so I started to hide my fear and got some strengths together to face this drama which still had to come.

She was playing with her dark brown hair while doing some paper work. A bubble gum was visible in between her teeths which doubted me if that's even allowed in a office. She looked at me with annoyance as if I just did something wrong to her.

"What do you want?" She asked coldly which made me look at her with knitten eyebrows. "I have a meeting with Mr. Jeon today" I said confidently and coldly at the same time.

"I don't think you have one" she said which confused me. I didn't showed her my confused mood and still was cold infront of her. "Don't believe me...no one asked you to...believe him" I said while pointing at the office door from Jungkook.

She rolled her eyes and went inside his office without knocking on the door. "Why didn't she used this phone to ask him?" I asked myself after seeing the phone on her table. Soon I heared Jungkook scream in anger at this girl. I didn't hesitate and runned in his office only to seeing this girl really close to Jungkook and him pushing her away from him.

"YOU ARE FIRED!!! YOU WILL HEAR FROM MY LAWYER!!!" Jungkook screamed at her while she was still trying to get close to him. "You can't fire me...forgot? You still don't have anyone who can replace me" she said trying to sound hot but all I could hear was a bitch trying to get the attention from Jungkook.

Anger boiled inside me as I made my way to them and separated this girl from Jungkook. "YAH HOW DARE YOU PUSH ME AWAY?" She screamed at me which didn't affected me. "GIRL WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" She said while standing up and raising her hand on me.

I was ready to get slapped by her in some seconds as I closed my eyes tight but she didn't slapped which surprised me. A muscular arm was visible to my right which was holding the arm from this girl. It was Jungkook who saved me from behind. He was right. He would be there for me and he hold on his promise which made me happy.

"JUNGKOOK LET ME GO!" She screamed which brought me back to reality. "IT'S MR. JEON FOR YOU" he said from behind. I took all the power I had and grabbed her arm and throw her out of his office meanwhile Jungkook was calling the security.

"He said you are fired...SO GET LOST ALREADY" I screamed and all she could do was to glare at me the whole time. The security came and dragged her out of this building. I closed the door from Jungkook's office and fall on my knees while shaking badly.

I heared footsteps running to my direction and I knew who it was since me and Jungkook were alone in his office now.

"Y/n are you alright?" He asked worriedly while hugging me hard. I was strong but the fear was the whole time inside of me which wanted to come out now. I hugged this person infront of me tightly trying to control myself.

A few minutes have passed and we didn't moved from our place...it was just to comfortable but I broke the hug in the end cause I felt better now.

"Thank you so much for your help... I can work in peace and happiness now"
