I love talking to you
You make me feel happy
And loved
When I'm with you,
You seem like you really care
And I care about you too
Only all too much
Far too much
For I can't care about you in that way
The way that you care about someone else
It must remain a secret

So I keep some distance
As much as I can bear
But as hard as I try
My mind
And my eyes
And my heart
Go right back to you

Even so
My love for you will remain
Forever a secret
As it must be
