OMG! Time goes by so fast, it's already our last day in Brantford. I haven't even told my friends that we were moving to Ottawa! Or that mom and dad got divorced. I need to tell them, NOW!!

I really hope that they'll still talk to me after this, because I've had friends in the past that never talked to me again after telling them something serious like this. I was so sad that I would stay in my room and not talk to anyone. Well anyway I still have a few people to tell before we leave for Ottawa tomorrow. I went downstairs to make sure that mom was gone to work and sure enough, she was. Thank goodness. I went outside and walked over to Tim Horton's. The one closest to our house.
I got there in about half an hour, Mia was already there. She was waiting outside for me, it looked like she had been waiting for a while.
Mia: ALLIE!! What took you so long?
Me: I had to walk.
Mia: Why? Valerie couldn't drive you?
Me: No, we're kinda supposed to be grounded but I needed to tell you this in person.
Mia: Allie! You are going to be in so much trouble. Go home!!
Me: No I need to tell you something really important.
Mia: Then go ahead and tell me this IMPORTANT message.
Me: FINE!!! MOM AND DAD GOT DIVORCED AND NOW ME AND VALERIE ARE MOVING TO OTTAWA WITH DAD!!!! TOMORROW!!!
Her jaw DROPPED! And when I say dropped I mean DROPPED, it was like in those cartoons where there jaw drops all the way down to the floor. I could see in her eyes that she wanted to cry her eyes dry.
Mia: Sorry, I have to go.
Me: Mia! wait!!
Mia: No! Leave me alone.
With that, she left. I felt like the last time. So, as I was saying, Mia left and I started walking in the other direction back home. Once I got home, I ran up to my bedroom and started balling my eyes out. That's when Valerie came into my room, she opened the door and saw me curled up on my bed with my face buried in my knees.
Valerie: Hey, you ok?
Me: NO! GO AWAY!!
Valerie: Fine don't let me comfort you during your hard times.
Even though I screamed at her to go away I actually did want her to stay. I guess I just had to take out some anger at someone. So I guess this is what it's like to actually be a teenager. All of this stuff happening at the same time, having to deal with some really hard things and even loosing a lot of your best friends.
