About a half hour later we arrived to an expensive looking neighbor hood, ooh, I could live here for sure. I really hope that this is for real this time, because you can't just do that twice in one day.
Dad: Okay you two, close your eyes.
Me and Valerie closed our eyes as we pulled into the driveway. Or so I thought. Anyway we kept our eyes shut for a bit while dad got something ready. I was ready to open my eyes already but I knew that I should keep them shut. A few minutes later, dad opened the car door and helped me out.
Dad: You can open your eyes on three ok.
Me and Valerie: OKAY!!
Dad: Ok then, ONE, TWO, THREE, OPEN!!!!!!
Me: OH MY GODDDD!!!!!!!!!!
Valerie started crying because of how good the house looked, I ran up to dad and gave him a huge hug. This was such a big surprise to me because dad was never the type to have a lot of money so I thought that he would've bought a cheap house but I was wrong.

Dad: So? What do you guys think?
Me: Dad it's perfect!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Valerie: I don't know what to say dad, you didn't have to get such a nice house!
Dad: Yes I did, what else would I have done with the money I'm getting from my new job working for Versace?
Me and Valerie: WAIT DAD!!!!! YOU WORK FOR VERSACE??????!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dad: Yes, you guys didn't know?
Me: NO! I always thought you were gonna work at the local loblaws or something not Versace.
Dad: Well I've had this job for a few months now, and that's why I hadn't been coming home until like three in the morning. Because I was out in Toronto working.
Me: Well we're really happy for you dad but you really didn't have to buy such a big house for just three people.
Dad: I know but I wanted you guys to be able to bring your friends here and not worry about what they think about the house.
Valerie: Thanks dad you really are the best.
Dad: Well, let's bring in the boxes and go out to the mall to get some new clothes okay?
Me and Valerie: OKAY!!!!
We brought all of the boxes in the house and then got back in the car to drive to the mall. I know we've been in the car all day but this is different, we're going to the mall to BUY some new outfits for school. We got here just in time for the new school year to begin.
Dad: Ok, so i'm going to give you both $2,000 to get whatever you want but it has to either be for school or your room ok?
