So, where was I? Oh yeah, dad was just smiling, standing beside the car waiting for me to come outside.

Dad: Okay... We all ready?

Me: Yeah.

Valerie: I don't care.

We all got in the car and dad started driving. I thought that this was going to be a horrible car ride, but it was actually quite a nice car ride. So far. We weren't half an hour in when Valerie complained about her having to pee.

Valerie: Dad!!! I have to pee!!!

Dad: Really Valerie? I told you to go before we left the house.

Valerie: I know but I didn't have to go then and now I do.

Dad: Well you'll have to hold it for a little while before we can find a gas station.

Valerie: Fine!

We continued on with our "road trip" for another half hour when we finally came upon a gas station.

Valerie: IT'S ABOUT TIME!

She yelled this while struggling to undo her seatbelt. She finally undid it and sprinted through the cars and into the bathroom. She came out a couple minutes later. I decided that I needed to stretch my legs so I got out of the car and stretched for a bit. We all got back in the car and dad pulled out of the gas station.

Dad: Well? What do you guys want to do?

Valerie: Well, I want to sleep.

Me: I want to play my ukelele.

Dad: Well that's a good idea Allie, why don't you play your ukelele and we can sing to the rhythm.

Me: Okay. What song do you want me to play?

Dad: How about....

He had to think for a bit, my guess is he was trying to think of a song that we would hopefully know. Well he thought right because the song he chose is my favourite song in the whole entire world.

Dad: Life changes by Thomas Rhett?

Me: OH MY GOD DAD!!! YES!!!

I must have screamed a little louder than I thought because when I looked out my window, the people in the car beside us were looking at me weird. Well I don't really care I'm just so happy that dad picked Life changes. Well it's probably because I ALWAYS talk about that being my favourite song.

Me: One second, I have to get my sheet music page out of my bag.

I quickly look through my bag and find my folder of sheet music. I really don't think I need it for this song because I play it on my ukulele ALL the time.

Me: I'm gonna play an intro and then you guys start singing. Okay?

Dad and Valerie: Okay.

I start playing the song, the intro to the song goes pretty smoothly, I'm done the intro and start playing the actual song. It's going so well we are so in sync, until, dad ruins it. He started singing in a high pitched voice and it hurt my ears. I stopped playing to see if he would notice, but NOPE! He just kept on singing like no one could hear him.

Me: DAD YOU CAN STOP SINGING NOW!!!!!!!

Dad: Oh.

For the rest of the car ride we were all quiet. I was either on my laptop, reading a book or on my phone. We finally reached the midway point of the car ride, we pulled into the parking lot of a hotel. Dad went to sign in and get the keys while me and Valerie stayed in the car. He came back like 10 minutes later with the keys to our room. He opened the car door and picked up his stuff.

Dad: Come on girls, we got to get some rest before we get back on the road tomorrow.

Me: Yeah, yeah, I'm coming.

Valerie: What's for dinner?

Me: Yeah, what is for dinner dad?

Dad: Well, we could order pizza or maybe something from skip the dishes.

Me: I don't really want pizza.

Valerie: Me neither.

Dad: We'll talk about this once we're settled in okay?

Me: Okay.

This hotel is awesome!!!! The room that we are staying in is so nice. Here's a picture...

Valerie: WOW! This is amazing!

Valerie: WOW! This is amazing!

Me: Yeah. But how much did you pay for it dad?

Dad: Well you don't need to know that.

Me: You're right.

We brought our stuff in and started getting cozy.

Dad: So what do you girls want for dinner?

Me: I don't know.

Dad: What about Montana's?

Me and Valerie: Sure!

Dad decided to get us the most expensive meals from Montana's, I've never had the Tomahawk before because mom would always get us the CHEAPEST meals wherever we went. He ordered it on skip the dishes and we had to wait like 2 hours for it to be delivered. But it was worth it because it was the best meal I have ever had from any restaurant I have been to.

Oh No!!!!! There's no more room on this page hope you guys enjoy
