HIDEOUT (Sequel to SHELTER)

EXO was silent while waiting for their three Alphas to get back from BTS's camp. Joonmyeon looked down at the two pups he was holding. The bigger one started to whimper.

"Shush, pup. Please don't cry. You'll be back with your mommy soon.", Joonmyeon cooed.

Kyungsoo quietly sat down next to Joonmyeon in the den as to not disturb the pups.

"Why did Alpha have to take them? They're so young. They shouldn't be away from their parents.", Kyungsoo said.

"Child, you mustn't question anything Alpha does. He's an Alpha, the strongest among us wolves. He's smart unlike us Omegas. He did this for a reason and I trust him.", Joonmyeon said.

Kyungsoo huffed but didn't say anything more, just reached for the smaller pup to hold.

"I think I smell Alpha." Kyungsoo said after some time had gone by. He handed the little pup over to Joonmyeon and hurried out of the den, the other Omega trailing after him.

Once outside, Joonmyeon spotted his Alpha, his son, and Zitao coming into the camp. He dropped to his knees with the pups in his arms. Kyungsoo doing the same beside him.

"Alpha, how come you are back so early?", he asked with a shaky voice.

Yifan looked down at the Omegas. "We decided to give them some time."

"We're going back tonight.", Zitao said.

Joonmyeon nodded. His Alpha never really told him anything about his plans and he usually got scolded for asking, so this was new.

"You two can get up now. Go clean the dens or something."

Kyungsoo, still looking at the ground, said, "But, Alpha. We already did that while you were gone."

Yifan growled. "Then do it again!"

Joonmyeon looked up, holding onto the pups tighter, "Alpha, please don't yell at him, he's just a child."

Yifan growled again. "I changed my mind. I want Kyungsoo to clean the dens and you to leave those pups somewhere and meet me in my den."

Jongin couldn't stand his father treating other wolves like this, especially Omegas. "You can't treat mom like that! You're going to make him cry!"

"Shut up! Why were you born my son? I can't stand you!", Yifan shouted.

Joonmyeon and the pups were all crying now. "Alpha, I can't leave them. They need someone to be with them."

If Jongin didn't know any better, he would've thought he saw regret flash in his father's eyes. When Joonmyeon knew Yifan wasn't going to say anything. He reluctantly stood up and gave Kyungsoo the pups.

"They need to eat soon.", he told Kyungsoo as he choked back his tears.

Yifan glared at Joonmyeon. "Go."

Joonmyeon ran away from them and towards his and the leader's shared den.

Yifan turned to his son. "I don't want you or Zitao to bother me for the rest of the day. I'll decide when we go back to BTS."

Jongin just gave his father a dirty look then walked off with Zitao.
