HIDEOUT (Sequel to SHELTER)

Luhan and Jisoo were becoming best friends and Hoseok and Jin found it adorable to watch the two pups interact. Sehun and Baekhyun were growing up fast and no longer needed Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung's babysitting. They were old enough to be trusted alone in the camp without someone directly watching over them. It wouldn't be long until they started to grow into their respective secondary genders. This meant that Jungkook, Jimin, and Taehyung had to do more actual jobs like hunting and watching the borders of their territory.

At the moment, Jimin was off watching the borders and Jungkook and Taehyung were assigned the task of hunting.

Jungkook had been feeling off the whole day and he thought maybe it was just something he ate. He tried asking Taehyung about it.

"Hey, Tae?"

The little Alpha looked up at him with his big, pretty eyes. "Yes?"

Jungkook blushed a bit. Maybe he had a fever? "I need advice. You see, I haven't been feeling well all day and I think it might be..." He didn't get the chance to finish his sentence before he fell to his knees and let out a feral growl. Suddenly, the urge to claim something rushed through his body. Unfortunately, the other person with him was an Alpha. A very pretty Alpha though. An Alpha that he had a crush on for a while even though he knew it was wrong.

At this moment, he knew he was in rut. And Taehyung knew too, judging by his shocked expression. How had he not noticed that he was about to go into rut?

Taehyung took a few steps back.

Jungkook couldn't really think straight but he knew that that's not what he wanted. He needed Taehyung. He needed to mark him. Claim him.

Jungkook struggled to stand up. He looked Taehyung directly in the eye. "Mate" was all he said before jumping and pinning the other to the ground. Taehyung wailed loudly. Jungkook didn't like that. He shut him up by kissing him hard on the mouth.

Taehyung didn't make any attempt at pushing him off even though his Alpha instincts were telling him to pin Jungkook to the ground instead. He let himself be overcome by Jungkook's dominance.

When Jungkook pulled away, Taehyung wrapped his arms around him, begging him not to go.

Jungkook seemed to sense what was wrong. "Don't worry, Tae. I'll never leave you."

The pair just laid on the ground for a bit until Taehyung broke the silence.

"Jungkook, mark me. Make me your mate."

Jungkook growled. "I'll make you feel like an Omega, baby."

Taehyung moaned at the tone of voice. "Yes, please Alpha!"

The newly mated pair fell asleep shortly after the first round. Taehyung had thought he would be feeling extremely uncomfortable with taking an Alpha's knot, but he surprisingly didn't think it was all that bad. Now he knew why Jin actually liked going into heat.

As Taehyung laid there, still connected to Jungkook and with a mating mark fresh on his neck, he wondered what he would tell the others when they got back if they hadn't come looking for them already. He was sure Namjoon wouldn't kick them out of the pack. He was a very accepting leader after all. But still, it didn't ease his fears about how the others would view them. Or him for that matter, since he was the one who had the mating bite mark. Would Jungkook regret this when his rut ends? Wouldn't he want to mate an actual Omega who could give him pups?

Taehyung couldn't help but think what the future had in store for them.
