Personality —
Alissa has had a pretty tough life, but not as hard as some people on the Ark. Having a lot of struggles, they have morphed her into someone who is reflexively cold and sarcastic.
She uses her sarcasm as a defense mechanism, which also takes part in not letting people in easily. She has a hard time trusting people.
She has had a previous boyfriend, Finn Collins. He broke her heart, also being a factor in her cold persona. She hasn't seen him in years and will be surprised to see him with Raven/Clarke.
She can be a real badass when she wants to be. On the Ark, she took archery lessons, learning from Jaha before he floated her mother. She and Jaha had a great relationship which made his betrayal even more hard on her.
Relationships —
Finn Collins: He was her first and only boyfriend. Although, she has had flings but not anything emotionally attached. Finn was the only person that she let her close to her, which she ended up ultimately regretting.
Monty Greene: She and Monty have a close friendship, but the weird thing is, she doesn't know what he looks like. She and him were cell mates on opposite sides of the wall. The wall had a hole in it, which they always had to hide from room inspection.
Clarke Griffin: She doesn't end up liking Clarke at first because of her relationship with Finn but she starts to grow close to her during the whole chaotic few months of their arrival.
Octavia Blake: She and Octavia are the same at the beginning, bratty, stuck-up, stubborn, and emotional (which results in bad things). This ultimately makes them clash and not in a good way.
Raven Reyes: She and Raven have somewhat of a rivalry but a healthy one. They are friends and push each other to be better at what they were before. But, she and Raven never discuss Finn. Ever.
Jasper Jordan: She and Jasper are super close friends. They both have a sarcastic, funny, sadistic demeanor. They love life and live it to the fullest, but not before cracking up some jokes.
Wells Jaha: She and Wells were close friends before Jaha murdered her mother. She knows it's not Wells's fault, but she can't help but take her anger on his father out on him.
Bellamy Blake: She and Bellamy bump heads at the beginning, but soon build this steamy, competitive relationship between the two. She enjoys his company and is one of the only people she slowly starts to like. Feelings for each other are unspoken but there.
