Staying with the Enemy (Watty's 2015)

Chapter 4

Maddie's POV

"Shawn why do you have to be so difficult. Why can't you just give me my ankle bracelet?" I said

"Because I want to talk, Maddie." Shawn said.

"Fine Shawn. About what?" I said

"I know what you did Maddie. I know you're stupid little secret." Shawn said.

Oh shit he knows what Mr.Mendes did.

God, why was I so stupid as to not realize he would figure it out sooner or later?

"Shawn I'm sorry. I should have told you." I said.

"And to think I swore to myself. I would never sleep with the enemy." Shawn said.

What?!

"Can I have my ankle bracelet back Shawn?" I said.

"Whatever.. We still need to talk. So come to my house." Shawn says.

I don't want to meet up with him.

Shawn looks at my phone. All of a sudden, he grabs it.

"Give it back!!!" I yelled.

I jumped on his back and reached for my phone. After fumbling for awhile, I finally grabbed my phone. I was trying to get down, but he ended up tripping. He turned around, trying to catch me, but we ended up face to face on the sand.

Shawn leans in but instead of kissing my lips he whispers "I'll text you my address."

He smirks at me and gets up and leaves.

I get up and I go back home. I see that the guys are still there, so I ask if they wanna stay. And they say yes.

So we go back to the beach and we sit there and watch the sunset. A couple hours pass by and we set a bonfire.

I as we were by the fire, I go and talk to Jacob to tell him what happen.

"Jacob can I tell you something?" I said.

"Sure." Jacob said.

"So when I was on the beach earlier today, Shawn found me. He came to give me my ankle bracelet back and I really didn't let him talk to me. But he said he still wanted to talk and he took my phone and said he would text me later his address so that we could talk." I said

And then all of a sudden I see Shawn again wtf. But he's with Taylor.

I tuned to Jacob and said "WHO INVITED HIM!"

"Matt did." Jacob said.

"WHY?!" I said.

"I don't know. Ask him." Jacob retorted.

I'm siting closest to the house and then going counter clockwise it's Jacob, Taylor, Cameron, Nash and Matt, plus an empty chair next to me.

I call over Cameron to sit next to me because I don't want Shawn to sit next to me.

As I call over Cameron, Shawn is making he way over to sit next to me.

And of corse, Shawn gets there before Cameron.

"Great." I mumble.

Shawn turns to face me and says, "Fancy seeing you here."

"Just great." I say a little louder.

"What?" Jacob asks.

"Nothing. I'll talk to you later." I say back to Jacob.

I am sorry it took my forever to update the story.

I think Vanessa will update again tonight. I am not sure.
