When did you start writing poems?
I would have to say middle school. The very first poem I wrote was Turtle Dove. At the time of writing it I had a crush on this girl in my homeroom. I also was entertaining the idea of meeting my elementary best friend; though I was in another state. Anyway sorry about the complex back story of the poem.
