Extra: Halloween

Hey there! It's been a long while since the last announcement I made. I'm still busy doing other stuff but here's a short story to keep you guys hydrated. Enjoy!

It's the day that always excite the kids in the neighbourhood. Plus, it will always be the heat of the topic during this time of the year. Have you guessed what it is? Yup, it's Halloween!

Every time Halloween is around the corner, the hustle and bustle of the neighbourhood seems to liven up the mood. There will always be tons of fun and mischief. The houses will be decorated with spooky stuff and colourful decorations. Various kinds of carved pumpkins, fake spider webs, pumpkin lanterns, bats, candles, skeletons. You name it, they have it.

The owners of the houses will have to prepare the candies for the kids too. There are variety of candies and sweet food like gummy bears, chocolate bars, lollipops, different flavours of sweets and so on. There is a reason that this tradition keeps going on for centuries. It says that if you don't give candies, you'll get tricked! Well, that might supposed be it.

Everyone will dress up their best costumes and go to houses and say the famous line---Trick or Treat! Kids dress up as their favorite characters from Disney or Marvel such as Spiderman, The Hulk, Snow White, Cinderella,  Minions and so on. Classic. For adults, they either make their own outfit or purchase them from the stores to create their own character. There are some go with the same design every year like witches and wizards, nurse, the classic put-a-cloth-over-and-pretend-to-be-a-ghost outfit, Mummy and the list goes on. Every year they will try to look at their best to win over a lot of candies. It is also a competition to see who has the best outfit.

This year, for Sherbet, is going to be different because he gets to spend time with his friends on Halloween. He is ready and heads out to meet Etihw and the others. They have promised to meet each other at the fountain near their school at night, seven sharp. When Sherbet gets there, he is greeted with a certain blonde who is waiting with her childhood friend.

"Hello Sherbet," says Ciel with a heart-warming smile, "You look nice in that outfit by the way."

Sherbet dresses up as a vampire with the classic big black cape hovering his body which reaches to his heels. He wears a white long sleeve shirt  with a black vest, along with a matching pair of long black pants and black boots. A red pendant attach with a black ribbon is tied around his neck. He also puts on a pair of fake fangs that is quite sharp to look as if he does really drink blood with them. One of the fangs is visible hanging out of the mouth. Looks very much like Count Dracula himself. With his eyebags and messy hair, he really looks like a vampire. There is a slight ghastly but proud atmosphere around that gives out a charming vibe out of him.

"T-Thank you, Ciel. Y-You look very wonderful as well. Like a female version of the seraph,  Mikaela," Sherbet scratches his cheek with his index finger sheepishly, unfamiliar with the compliments that she has given.

What made Sherbet stuttered was that Ciel is putting on an angel costume. She wears a long white dress which reaches until the ground and a pair of artificial wings attach at the back. She has a pair of thin laced cloth around the waist of her dress.  Her hair is tied into a princess braid, with a blue ribbon decorated at the back of her hair. Ciel also has flower decorations on her hair. There is a halo on top of her head, which if you look closely, there is an invisible stick supporting it to make it like it is floating. Underneath the dress, she wears a pair of white heels. If there is light shining upon her, she will look absolutely darling. She's like an angel that has fallen from heaven. It's as if there is a luminous aura around her that gives out light.

Ciel blushes and smiles at her friend's compliment: "Thank you."

"Hey~What about me? I know Chi is beautiful, at least praise me as well," Rigatona loops her arm around Ciel and pouts at Sherbet, clearly unsatisfied when the two haven't realised that they have forgotten about her existence until now.
