"I was in the eleventh grade after the prom, Alex and I left early cause it was getting boring" I start

"What is her name?" Jay asks
"Ryan Alexandria Dawson Green" I say "we made it look like Dawson was just a middle name because when I first ran away I lived with Alex and his family, I gave birth, I went home and Alex raised her I stopped by everyday to bring her clothes and toys and the stuff she needed, it was our deal I would keep my distance but if she needed anything I would do my best to get it for her" I smile grabbing a picture frame I take it apart and grabbed the picture of Alex and I after we had Ryan

"This was seconds after she was born" I smile handing Jay the picture
"She was born March 5th 2009, 4:14pm, 5 pounds 9 ounces she was 19 inches long" I smile
"If this is true Kennedy you need to tell CPS" he says handing me the picture back
"I can't I signed all my legal rights away to Alex when I left, I don't know if I could get her" I say looking down at the picture
"You are legally her mother by blood"
"I can't I haven't seen her in six and a half years, she was one years old when I last saw her, the day Alex was shot was the first time I saw her in years she didn't even know me I looked at her in the eyes and she had no idea who I was, I broke when she looked at me and didn't know who I was my baby girl did not recognize me" I cry I look at the time 7:46am
I should get ready I turn around and just as I was about to walk upstairs, there was a knock at my door
"I'll get it you go get ready" Jay says walking towards the door, I walk upstairs and have a quick shower and change
I walk downstairs to see Jay and Ryan on my couch and a another person
"Kennedy Dawson?" The person asks and I nod
"My name is Marilyn Avery I am Ryan's case worker and I was looking through her files and even though you have signed all legal rights away Alexandre has in his will that he wanted full guardianship of Miss Greene to go to her biological mother which is you, you're name is on her birth certificate and if you don't want to take guardianship I will find her a caring home" Marilyn says
"I will she is mine and I know I signed my rights away but if I can I would love to have her" I smile looking at the small girl placing a small fluffy pink tiara on Jays head
"Is he your husband?" She asks
"No we are just starting to see each other" I say smiling at the sight in front of me
