God let his own son die for me
Yet I let the devil lie to me
I let the devil tell me I'm not worth it
I let him tell me life is not worth itBut there's a saviour sent from the God above
A saviour that was beat and whipped and ultimately killed
A man so perfect and blameless
And yet I sit here so thanklessI'm worthless
I'm nothing
Just a burden to those I love
I'd be better off deadYet God keeps me here when he could take me out
Yet he let his only son die
Look at him, then take a look at me!
Who should be the one still standing here?Psalms 139:14 tells me I am fearfully and wonderfully made
Genises 1:27 tells me I am made in his image
Maybe that's why he keeps me
I am made to be like himI am fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God
So therefore Nothing can stand to me
Nothing can rise against meThe devil ain't got a single thing on me
So let him come
Let him rise
And I'll watch him fallBecause I got God on my side
And when it is with him I stand
Then nothing can make me fall
