It has been 321 years since we last saw our future hero Aphrodisa. It is now the year 479 and the army of Xerxes has been defeated at Plataea. During the battle until it's end, Aphrodisa tended to the soldiers that were injured. After two centuries of nursing wounded soldiers, she finally saved up enough money to free her family and friends.
While she was treating them, she met a fellow slave that had a weapon with her just in case if she must protect herself. She had long blond hair and grayish eyes. Aphrodisa decided to walk up to her and introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Aphrodisa. I'm a slave from Cyprus" Aphrodisa took out her hand. The woman turned around to look at her. "My name is Athenaii. I'm a slave from Thebes but I originally came from Athens" she said while taking her hand from Aphrodisa to shake it. "So, you don't live far from here" Aphrodisa responded. "Yeah" Athenaii responded. "What brought you here?" she then asked her. "Well I figured this would be a good opportunity to earn mine and my family's freedom" Aphrodisa told her. "Yeah that's what I am doing too. Back when I was a slave I would entertain everyone by reading my poetry I had written and play on my lyre" she told her. "That's amazing. I am into poetry too, although even though I might write, I am not good at it" Aphrodisa told her. They both laughed becoming fast friends.
Aphrodisa pretty much followed the war and helped those that have been wounded. She mostly treated the Greek solders since she was from Cyprus. She was glad that her side was winning. They had destroyed the rest of the Persian fleet at the Battle of Mycale, before expelling Persian garrisons from Sestos.
When she was busy tending to the wounded, Aphrodisa saw a soldier who looked like he was not from Greece by his skin tone. Aphrodisa decided to go to the soldier, who is now on the ground and in need of some treatment. "Do you need help" she called to him as she ran to where he was. "I'll be fine" he responded stubbornly. She didn't listen and helped him to the tent, so she could treat him. As she treated him, she started to have a conversation with him. "My name is Aphrodisa and I am from Cyrpus. Who are you?" she asked the handsome soldier. "My name is Mantu and I originally came from Egypt but now I'm fighting with the Spartans" he told her. "Wow you must be brave to come all this way to help the Greeks fight this war" she responded. "I'm a fighter. It's what I live for" he responded.
"What made you leave Egypt and moved to Sparta?" she asked. "I heard there was a battle and I wanted to come and fight. I have heard stories of what kind of people Spartans are and ever since I was a little boy I wanted to be just like them" he told her. "What kind of name is Mantu" another question Aphrodisa asked. "Mantu is the name of the Egyptian God of War, like the Greeks God of war Ares" he told her and then looked up. "What kind of name is Aphrodisa?" he asked her. "Aphrodisa came from Aphrodite the Greek Goddess of love and beauty. They named me that because they believed I was the most beautiful girl in Cyprus" he told her. "You are very beautiful" he responded making her to blushed. When the war was over Mantu and Aphrodisa soon got married and Athenaii visited them often.
