The first time I stood in front of you wasn't by my own choice.

My friend drags me outside your classroom. She leaves, grinning, after she plants us face to face and commands that we talk.

I don't know what to think of the boy in front of me. My friend had talked my ear off about how she thinks we should talk, and how if we got together, we would be a perfect couple. I had waved her off, knowing that it was only based off of the fact that we were the same ethnicity.

The bell blares. Our eyes meet briefly before we brush past each other wordlessly.

You had the same G-Shock watch as I did.
