The next morning when Taehyung got to work, Jungkook was nowhere to be found, which was weird because the boy was always there before Taehyung.

When he walked into his office, He found a big lunch box waiting for him with a note on it.

*Note reads*

"Hey Taehyung. This is the lunch I said I would make for you every day as promised. Only thing is, I guess I have to break that promise for now, as this will be the first and last lunch I can make for you at the moment. Somethings came up at home, so I'm taking some time off indefinitely until further notice. Hoseok said he won't fire me, so I guess I still have a job if there is a chance for me to come back. I wanted to call you and tell you all this but I'm not really good with good byes so I'm sorry. I really do like you Tae, thank you again for yesterday, I'll never forget it – Jungkook".

Taehyung felt upset that the younger left without seeing him first. What came up so suddenly that made him just rush home? And why did he make it seem like he had no choice in the matter? Taehyung quickly picked up the phone and called Hobi for some answers.

*phone rings*

Hoseok picks up in seconds.

"Hey Tae, did you just saw my snap and want me to pick you up some off the run-way Gucci items in New York? Because don't worry your pretty little head, Hyung already-

"Hyung that's not what I'm calling about. Why did Jeon Jungkook quit? What was his reason? He was fine yesterday"

"Umm yesterday? Wasn't that your off day? Oh My God. Kim Taehyung did you just go on an actual date yesterday and NOT tell me? Does JIMIN know about this?"

"ughhh hyung. Look, a lot has happened since you've been gone. I'll catch you up once you get back but tell me. What was Jungkook's reason"

"Well.... He said his mother was sick. He got a call early this morning and just said he couldn't stay any longer. He just apologized over and over and thanked me for the opportunity. I mean he's a good kid so.... I told him he can come back any time"

Taehyung felt bad now for being upset with him for leaving. Of course, he has to go home if his mother was sick.

"Taehyung? Are you still there?"

"Hoseok..... is it... would it be crazy if I took some time off and go after him?"

".......Taehyung whats this about? You never ask for days off. I mean I don't mind at all, I actually think you need it but.....do you have feelings for this kid? He's only been with us for a few months"

"I... I don't know but something is telling me that I should go find him. Like I should be there for him? I don't know. It must be serious if he isn't planning on coming back. Am I crazy hyung? Its crazy right? I mean.... We barely even-"

"Tae. Go. Sometimes the crazy thing is the right thing to do, and if we don't be a little crazy at times, we might miss our chance and regret it forever.
