Firstly, I'd just like to thank you for taking the time to check out Midnight Carnivale! I'm only six chapters in and I'm already so vested in the lives of Rosie and Oliver that they're quite literally on my mind all day.
I look forward to seeing all of your lovely comments and hope you enjoy reading about their adventures as much as I enjoy writing about them! That being said, some of the things these characters encounter may be hard for some readers, there will be references to abuse of various kinds, and at times descriptions of said abuse. It will never be graphic and it will always fall into step with Wattpad Guidelines, but these and other potential issues will be explored throughout the course of this novel. This is as much a tale of darkness and monsters, both literal and metaphorical, as it is a tale of magic and fantasy and is not for the faint of heart. As the author I will stay true to my voice and tell the story of Rosie and Oliver as it is meant to be told.
If at any time you feel uncomfortable, I implore you to skip ahead.
That being said, if you do decide to forge ahead, I invite you to sit back and enjoy the show, The Midnight Carnivale begins now...
