"Hurry up and get ready. I'll be back in 10 to touch up your makeup." With those words, she leaves, going across the street to her house to find her own outfit. I look at the outfit she set out for me; a black skirt with gold accents and a quilted zig zag pattern, a blue cropped tank top with red vertical stripes, and matching red suede pumps. I put it on and look in the mirror. Not gonna lie, I look great. Carson knows exactly how to style me to give me a boost of confidence. This is exactly what I need to get through this night. I'm excited that Mac wants to spend more time with me, but I'm also extremely nervous for that same reason. I have a hard time trusting people and letting them in. The last time I did, I ended up getting hurt.

"I'm back!" Carson exclaims in a sing song voice interrupting my thoughts. When she walks through the threshold of my bedroom door, she is dressed to perfection in a white and red plaid wrap skirt, black cropped tank top, and nude pumps. Her blonde curls are pinned back and her makeup is soft but dramatic.

Five minutes later, after touching up my hair and makeup, Topher's voice bellows out from downstairs signifying that the guys were here to pick us up

Five minutes later, after touching up my hair and makeup, Topher's voice bellows out from downstairs signifying that the guys were here to pick us up. Carson bounds out of the room the second she hears Toph's voice. I grab my phone and make my way down the stairs. As I descend the staircase, I feel a set of eyes on me. I look up from my phone and see Mac staring at me with wide eyes. Oh my god. Is there something on my clothes. Does he think it looks bad? Is my skirt too short??? My thoughts cloud my mind as I stop at the bottom of the staircase. After about 30 seconds of Mac's zoned out look, he shakes his head back into reality and finally speaks.

"You look..." Mac breathes out, pausing while my anxiety picks up, "absolutely breathtaking." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. I smile up at him and take in his appearance. He has changed into a pair of black jeans, a tan t-shirt with premade holes, and black converse.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I complement, both of our cheeks turning a crimson. We hear a beep from outside, presumably coming from Topher and Carson in the car. We walk out and hop in and Topher backs out of the driveway toward Anderson's house. After a few minutes, we arrive to the house. People are milling around the property, inside and out. Music and colorful lights are seeping through every window of the large house. We exit the car and head in.

"Come on, babe. Let's go get some drinks." Carson states pulling me to the kitchen while the boys are showered in congratulations as they make their way over to their teammates. Carson and I pour ourselves some mixed drinks and make our way to the makeshift dance floor in the living room.

After a few songs, a muscular pair of arms wraps around my waist accompanied by a hot breath against my neck. The overwhelming scent of spice and vanilla fills my nostrils. I've smelled this scent before. Mac. With the liquid courage that I continue to drink, I begin to gain more and more confidence. I turn around and his dark and lustful eyes meet mine. We continue to dance, changing our rhythm with each new song. After a few songs, I finish my drink.

"I need a new drink." I shout over the thumping tones as I pull him into the kitchen. Once inside the sectioned off room, the air is only filled with the faint thumping of the music and the breathing of us, the only two in the room. I begin to pour my drink: vodka accompanied by soda.

"Do you want me to make-" I begin as I turn toward Mac when I am suddenly pushed against the counter, cradled in Mac's arms. My breath hitches as I look into his penetrating eyes.

"Stella. You look so beautiful tonight." He scrunches his nose up in thought. "No. Beautiful can't even begin to describe the way you look right now. When you walked down the stairs earlier, I couldn't even breath. You literally took my breath away." I can't believe Mac is saying this right now. Am I dreaming? I am pulled out of my thoughts as Mac begins to trace circles on the exposed skin of my back with his thumb.

I don't know if it was the vodka soda or the fact that I couldn't contain my feelings anymore, but suddenly, I reached up and grabbed his face in my hands pulling him into a passionate kiss. Surprised at first, it takes Mac a few seconds to respond. He then starts to move his lips against mine and begins to deepen the kiss. He puts his hand on either side of my hips and lifts me onto the counter opposite of the one housing the drinks. I wrap my legs around his torso pulling him closer to me, trying to eliminate as much space between us as possible. His tongue traces my lips and I open my mouth granting him access. After ten minutes of our heated makeout session, Mac pulls away and takes a small step back to look at me with disheveled hair, crimson cheeks, and swollen lips.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to do that." He breathes out with a crooked smile. I place a chaste kiss on his lips as I pour him a drink, grab mine, and drag him back out onto the dancefloor. I move my hips against him matching the rhythm of the current song.

"Hey! Dirty dancing!" We both look to the side and see Topher holding up a giggling Carson. I stifle a laugh at the nickname and the current scene that I was witnessing. "We're heading home are you guys coming? We're gonna grab an uber." Mac and I follow them out to the curb as we wait for the car to arrive. "Mac, do you want the uber to drop you off at your house after?" Topher questions Mac as he sits a struggling Carson on the sidewalk. I look up to Mac with a shake of my head to signify that he can stay at mine.

"Nah man. It's all good." Mac tells Topher, trying to go around the fact that he would be staying with me.

"Ah. I see what's going on here." Toph muses with a smirk throwing an arm around each of our shoulders. "Be safe and don't do anything that I wouldn't do." He states with a wink.

"That doesn't really prohibit much does it Toph?" I ask with a raised brow. He laughs and shake his head as the car pulls up to the curb. After a few minutes of driving, the car stops at the sidewalk outside my house and Mac and I split from Topher who was carrying a sleeping Carson into her house. I unlock the front door and lead Mac into my room.

"I'll be right back." I say as I slip into the my ensuite to go to the bathroom. After washing my hands, I walk back out and see Mac, stripped down to his boxers, passed out on my bed. I snicker and quickly change into a big t-shirt and snuggle up to him. He shifts and his arm wraps around my waist, pulling me further into him.

"Stell, I had such an amazing night. Thank you." I kissed his toned chest in response as we both drifted to sleep.
