Here's the idea:

It has been literally five days since you last had some quality sleep. You're drained and have been looking down lately - which didn't go unnoticed. You end up falling asleep in the most awkward moments and that could mean trouble to the boys.

Look at these idiotic options:

The sun was rising once again. This time there was a soft cold breeze blowing past the camp as you stared into distance. The scenery didn't change much since the last time. There were only green plains and blue skies as far as your eyes could reach.

Sitting on a rock with your legs crossed you observed the bright white light casting the shadows from the past night away as the sun went higher.

It was close to six in the morning, so you knew Ignis would be up soon to start with breakfast. That meant Prompto would be up as soon as the smell of food reached the tent and Gladio also wouldn't take long to be on his feet and going for his routine jog. Prince charming won't be up for the next two hours.

Not five minutes later you heard the familiar sound of the tent being zipped open. You didn't need to look to know who it was - you were used to this daily routine and it didn't change much, unless you guys were staying at a hotel.

Ignis immediately went to prepare breakfast after greeting you with a small 'good morning'. Gladio stepped out and went for a run. Prompto came out right after and went straight to Ignis to compliment the smell of whatever was being prepared. And Noctis did what he always does - gave all of you some trouble as you tried to wake him up.

"You always do that," Prompto nagged with a smirk. "Sometimes I wonder if you're really sleeping or just making charm."

The prince mumbled something unintelligible under his breath and just stared at the scenery. But, as everything else, that was also routine. His attitude wasn't new. Your insomnia wasn't new.

"You're awfully silent, [y/n]" Gladio pointed out.

You were looking straight ahead - like you always do - and caught Ignis looking at you through the mirror.

You smiled at him, but didn't bother offering an explanation to your silence. You were too tired for that.

Thankfully no one really seemed to mind and the subject was instantly forgotten.

Maybe what they said was true; one smile could solve anything - even if it was fake.

You were satisfied by the fact you were a rather discreet person - not too loud, not too extroverted, not too strong, not too intelligent. Even your appearance was simple and bland.

You never gave one small step without carefully thinking it through. You thought about all possible consequences in short, mid and long terms. You were good at predicting things. That was what you brought to the group: an accurate perception of all possibilities.

Maybe that's why it shocked you so much that you put yourself on the spot like this. You hated being in evidence so much, yet your body sabotaged you for overworking yourself.

This had to be some kind of punishment, right?

Now, the outcome could be:

Gladio: You fell asleep on his shoulder in the car and they found out you talk in your sleep when you're too tired.

Ignis: You also fell asleep in the car, but you simply wouldn't wake up when they stoped to set up camp. This forced him to carry you to the tent - too bad you wouldn't let go of him no matter what. They all ate cup noodles that night.

Noctis: He was usually the one leaning on your shoulder for naps while you guys were on the road. This time however you were the one leaning on him.

Prompto: No one would ever have guessed you became a cuddling monster when you were exhausted. Prompto was squeezed the whole night.
