Chapter 20

Josh's pov**64

Jennifer got so mad at me for buying Ellie a puppy. Well it was actually for me but to make up for it with Jennifer I'm taking it back right now. When I get there I ask them about there policy on returning the dogs. The woman says that if the dog isn't readopted then it will be put down. So now I really don't feel good about leaving her here. So I leave and go back home with the dog. When I get in the house Jennifer is standing there with her hair up messily and holding Allie she's angry I can tell. "Josh I said I would take the dog being stuck in the house with all three kids is really stressful." She whines "and I'm so sorry I just wanted to get it done." I say. "Then why do you still have the dog?" She ask curiously. "Well... They said they would put her down if she wasn't readopted in 3 days so I didn't feel good about leaving her there." I explain. "Josh your never even here so it'll be just me, the babies, and a dog. But I mean I do understand that you couldn't leave her I wouldn't have either." She agrees. "So we can keep her?" Jen breathes deep and says, "Yes we can keep her BUT only until we find her a new home." I kiss her and do a happy dance.

Jen's pov*65

Josh is working today and every day this week. It's really stressful for me to deal with all the kids by my self but I'm getting used to it. When I'm playing with kids I see the dog sniffing then I watch her after a while she starts to pee on the carpet looking me in the eye. It's not even like we have a backyard to let her go into. I don't wanna give her a name because I dint want to become attached. So I mainly just call her "dog" or "doggy". After while I get all the kids sleeping at once this is rare and probably won't last long but I go and take a shower,eat and make myself look decent. Then I call Shai and see if she wants to come over, she says yes. After about 15 minutes Shai calls me to let her I told her not to knock because the kids were sleeping. When I let her in we hug and tell her I like her hair she dyed it red. I ask her about how the wedding planning is going she tells me great but that her and Theo already got married. They are still having the wedding but, they got married in the courthouse because they didn't want to wait until January. Then Shai tells me she's pregnant, I'm so happy for her and Theo. Also for myself because I'll finally have a friend with a kid. Later when we are finishing up Ellie wakes up and then I bring her in the living room. She just goes and sits in Shai's lap with her dippy cup in hand. It was the cutest thing ever she just sat there calmly and watched TV until Shai left then she started running around as usual. When Josh gets home he takes over the kids while I make dinner.

Jennifer's pov *66* ✔️                          Josh is going to be done filming soon but I don't know if I want to go back to Kentucky. I don't think Josh wants to either. However if we stayed here we would get more work but we'd have no one to watch the kids while we work. I wonder if my parents or Josh's parents want to move out here. So I call my mom and ask her about it she says it would be perfect timing since dad just retired but I told her this is just an idea. When Josh gets home I ask him about it he said he wouldn't mind staying just not in LA, somewhere else in the suburbs. So I start looking for bigger place in different areas of California. I don't really want anymore kids but I'm looking at 5 bedrooms for a guest room. I also want a pool in the backyard but I don't know because we have kids. I don't know if I want to sell our house in Kentucky or not I don't think I will because we'll still visit Kentucky. And I would want to have some where to stay because 5 people at one of our parents house would be hectic. I see a house that I really like. It had 5 bedrooms a pool and some grassy areas for the dog. When I call Josh's mom and tell her she says that she would hate for us to move back because she wouldn't see us much. She says she can't leave work that freely but if we want to move it was up to us of course but she couldn't move to help. This upset Josh because he truly is a mommas boy and I mean I wish she could move here too. I call my mom again she talked to my dad she said that he says that don't have the money to move there since he won't be working. I tell her money wouldn't be a problem Josh and I could help them out. I don't think we are gonna move because we really would need lots of help. I talk to Josh about it he thinks we can do it but I don't think I want to but I'm gonna think on it.

Joshifer: a Christmas special

(December 15)
Christmas shopping with Josh today we are getting gift for the kids. We are trying to get them semi-early because we are going to Kentucky for Christmas. When we go into the toy-r-us a couple kids stop us for picture while we shop. We get all of Penelope's present we got her a palace pet, a doll house, and a couple princess dolls. We get the twins gift that are alike but different like a motorcycle for Noah and a princess car for Allie. We get Allie a Jessie doll (from toy story) and Noah a Woody doll. The twins just turned one and Penelope is two so they don't really get Christmas yet. Josh and I split up to get each other's presents.
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get buy him a weekend at the basketball court for him and his friend to play. For his stocking probably some new socks to go with the basketball shoes I got him.
Josh's pov*
Jen and I split to get Christmas present for one another I know exactly what to get her. She been hinting at getting new couches so I'm getting a gift card to ikea she loves it there. I get her the new Coldplay cd for her stocking and a pizza card.
(December 20)
We are leaving for Kentucky today Jen and I didnt wake the kids we just loading them in the car to go to the airport. When we get on the plane for take off the twins cry I think it hurt their ears. We land and Jennifer's parent meet us there. When we get to her parents house we decorate the house. I put up the mistletoe then call Jen over she looks up and laughs and pecks me on the cheek.
(Christmas day)
We get the kids bring them down stairs and start to open present when Penelope open her palace pet she is soo excited! The twins were happy to but as aware of what was happening. Jen opens her presents and she loves them all and I'm glad! After opening present we went to the children's hospital to deliver gifts and take pictures with the kids
Jen's pov
We go to Josh's parents house and he opens his gift from me there. He is so excited he already starts asking his friends if they wanna come. This was a really good Christmas and I'm glad my family loved their gifts we end the day in footie pajamas cuddling in bed!
