Beast (Jin)

Your pov

I'm running. Leaves crunch beneath my feet as I run. The time of day makes it even harder to see and I almost hit a tree but I cant stop. My hair sticks to my face and vision becomes blurry as sudden flashes of light in the sky light the way for split seconds. Dodging trees and jumping over branches. But I cant stop. My lungs hurt and legs feel numb, but I cant stop. If I stop, even for a moment then it would be over for me. So I just keep running. For what chases after me would bring me pain far worst than death. So I just run and never stop.

I keep running for what feels like forever until a stumble upon a small cottage. I run with what little energy I have left into the house and lock the door. I stand with my back agents the door as I wait for it to pass me by. And as I thought it runs pass the cottage. I sigh and slid down the door and sit on the floor. 

I rest a little just sitting there trying to catch my breath. But then look up and see what's all in the cottage. There's a table set and food sitting there. I call out but no one seems to be here. I look around the one room cottage to still see no one. But before I can sit to eat the door opens. I turn to see a man with silver hair and fancy looking clothes who had opened the door.

"Why hello, what brings you to my small cottage in the middle of the woods?" he asks walking in and shutting the door behind him.

"Oh I'm sorry for intruding but I was being chased by a beast. The one with no heart and black eyes." I tell him. His eyes grow wide.

"Really?! Then we need to lock the doors and keep a look out for it." he says locking the door and walking to the nearest cabinet. He grabs a riffle and walks to a window near the back of the house. He looks through the top of the riffle and points it out of the window. There was a short pause until we heard a footsteps approaching fast. Then he shot the beast. 

"You did it!" I say and start to celebrate. 

"Well not yet.." he says.

"What do you mean?" I ask and look at him.

"Nothing. Are you hungry? I made dinner earlier and forgot about it." he says and I nod my head slowly.

We sit across from each other at the table and we both start to eat.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did you stumble upon the beast?" he asks.

"I was walking around the town with my grandmother and we wanted to walk to the cherry blossom trees on the outside of town. So we walked down there and she wanted to pick one but the one she wanted was to high for her so I had to pick it for her. She then said that we should play hide and seek. And when I went to hid and when she didn't come to look for me I went to find her. That's when I saw the beast eating my grandmother. So I ran but it heard me and started to chase me. So I ran until I found this cottage." I say and he looks a little annoyed but then nods his head with a smile to show he understands.

When we finished eating I did the dishes to show thanks to the stranger that is helping me. Then my vision started to get blurry and I fainted.

When I woke up I couldn't move.  I was tied to the table.

"Look who woke up." I turn my head to she the man looking at me.

"What are you doing?!" I yell at him.

"Eating." he said and I just looked at him confused.

Then his eyes went black and his teeth grew bigger and sharper. And he disappeared. 

"Silly girl thinks that she can lie about why she almost died." he says. I can hear his voice but not see him. I look left then right then left again and see his dead black eyes staring back at me. Then I felt a weight on my chest. I look up to see him again sitting on my chest.

"Don't worry it all be over soon." he says and I start to feel tired. I close my eyes and feel a sharp pain in my chest. But it doesn't hurt. I can feel all pain drift away and nothing is left.

I then shot up and don't feel anything anymore. I craved meat so I walk out of the cottage and I walk to the village.

Near the cherry blossom I see an elderly woman covering her eyes so I attack. Her meat was so sweet. Then I hear moving from behind me and see a little girl my age running. I like a challenge and start to chase her. I run past a cottage and I don't see her so I turn back to the cottage. Then I get shot. I now need a body to eat again so this young man should do nicely.
