*Ginger's P.O.V.*

"Hey Greyson, Dinner will probably be done in about an hour and a half. You should show Ginger around," Greyson's mom says from the stove.

We had arrived at his house about an hour ago, and were currently sitting on stools at the breakfast bar connected to the kitchen. I really adore his mom. She is the sweetest woman I've ever met.

"Yeah sure," Greyson smiles at his mom and stands. I happily oblige and follow him to his back door.

"So my backyard is this way," he says opening the sliding glass door and stepping out onto the patio. I step out behind him.

"Whoa," I mumble.

"What?" Greyson asks, confused.

"It's beautiful back here," I sigh. There are woods linging the entire edge of his yard, and I swear there are already lightning bugs flying around in the woods, or I'm crazy. The yard its self is plush and evenly green (definately something you don't see where I moved from) with a small stoned path leading into the woods and crystal clear pool off to one side of the yard. The opposite side of the yard has a small picnic table with an umbrella over top of it. I thought I would never see anywhere so green again after living in a dry, brown, and hot state.

"Yeah I agree. I love coming out here and just... thinking. You know?" He sighs.

"Yeah, but where does that path go to?" I ask my curiosity getting the better of me.

Greyson grins wickedly at me, grabs my hand and starts pulling me of the porch.

"Why tell you what I can show you?" He laughs happily. He gently leads me to the stoned path where I follow behind him, all too aware of his hand still holding onto mine.

As he guides me into the trees I confirm that there are indeed lightning bugs in the forest because it is so much darker under the trees then in his yard. The only thing hinting its day time are the rare rays of light poking through the slits of the dense foliage. Greyson peaks at me from over his shoulder and chuckles softly.

"You're adorable," he says. I blush furiously, and don't reply in fear of making a fool of my self.

Greyson moves his fingers inbetween each of mine, rather than our hands being cupped. I can feel that sharp tingling sensation at the pit of my stomach. I stare at my feet as I walk in a horrible attempt to cover my even redder face and large smile. I hear his light chuckle again.

We keep walking down the path, hand in hand, and the trees get bigger and denser. Towering over our heads.

"Are you taking me all they way out here to rape and murder me?" I ask after another 5 minutes of walking.

"No!" he snorts, " We are almost there so calm down." He squeezes my hand once for reassurance.

Sure enough a few moments later a large gazebo comes into view. There are vines with wild flowers growing up the sides. It seems reletivly old. The dark wood is worped in some areas and if it once had a nice finish on it I can no longer tell due to many years of abuse in the woods.
