Harry was fidgety on the whole train ride to Hogwarts. Ron and Hermione were starting to get irritated, but whenever they asked him the reason for his restlessness, he would simply reply: "You'll see at Hogwarts.". Which only served to further agitate Hermione as, for once, she had no idea what was going on.
Finally, the train arrived at Hogsmeade station. Harry was one of the first to alight from the train and climb into one of the Threstral-drawn carriages. Ron and Hermione had finally reached the end of their patience.
"Harry, I know you said that we'll see why you're so fidgety when we get to Hogwarts, but you have to know that you just can't act that way and expect to remain unquestioned. You are going to tell us right now, or I promise you, you won't be getting out of this carriage."
Hermione's threat effectively captured Harry's undivided attention, causing him to stare at her in horror.
"You-You can't do that."
"Do you really want to find out?"
"No."
"Well?"
"Um, so....there might be a few people coming to Hogwarts this year and I... might know them. Er....personally."
Hermione and Ron exchanged skeptical looks and then stared piercingly at Harry.
"Personally...how?"
"Personally as in...intimately, brother-sisterly, as enemies, as friends, as lovers-"
He broke off suddenly, wide-eyed and guilty-faced. Hermione pounced.
"YES?!!"
"Er, nothing. I was just, you know, rambling.... "
Hermione gave him a narrowed, suspicious look.
"Oh come on 'Mione, you know me."
Ron started laughing at the I'm-an-innocent-person-believe-me look that Harry was desperately directing at Hermione, who was now staring at Harry in that Hermione way which always made him feel like he was being X-rayed.
"Anyway, we're here. Let's go."
So saying, Harry leaped out of the carriage and dashed up the path before Ron or Hermione could collect their wits and stop him.
"HARRY JAMES POTTER, YOU COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!!!"
