Sana was crying. She tried her best to calm herself down but she just can’t.

She doesn’t want to lose her baby.

Days before, Sana was planning all by herself. She’s been planning on what to name her baby if it’s a boy or a girl, what to do when she’s about to give birth, and much more.

She never felt this excited before. And indeed, she was excited to give birth to her first baby.

Sometimes, she’s talking to her tummy. . . telling the baby inside about her daily work and how her day just went. Sana ended up every conversation with a smile, hoping that nine months wouldn‘t be too long for her.

Sana loves her baby, so much. And she just can’t wait to hold her precious angel once she already gave birth.

But as Sana looked down and saw the blood dripping from her crotch, all those thoughts just faded away easily and got replaced with the negatives. Sana’s tears fell much more, as her breathing became heavy.

Minutes after, Nayeon immediately barged inside the apartment with a female doctor behind her.

“SANA!” Nayeon screamed as she rushed to Sana who was currently sitting on the couch while crying. The doctor then also went to the couch and saw the amount of blood that came from Sana.

“Calm down, Miss Minatozaki. I’m going to check your blood pressure,” the doctor calmly said as she went beside Sana and checked her blood pressure, while Nayeon was just looking at them while crying also.

After checking the blood pressure, the doctor checked Sana’s lower back and massaged it to the part where it hurts to know if how painful it is. Sana cried as the doctor kept on examining her.

“How long have you been pregnant?” the doctor asked as Sana tried to her best to muffle her sobs.

“One month, doc. . .” Sana answered weakly while closing her eyes.

Nayeon went to Sana’s other side as she held the younger’s hand tightly. Sana then stared at Nayeon and flashed out a weak smile which made the older cry much more.

“Have you been doing something really tiring? Or have you went through an emotional breakdown?” the doctor once again asked as Sana was still crying.

“Both,” Sana replied while catching her breath. The doctor stood up and checked Sana’s reflexes before looking at the blood that was discharged from her body. After a few minutes, the doctor finally made her diagnosis as she faced Sana and Nayeon with great sympathy drawn on her face.

“Miss Minatozaki, you had a miscarriage. I’m sorry,” the doctor said sadly which made Nayeon cry.

Sana, on the other hand, kept on repeating what the doctor said in her mind. And it breaks her heart, so much.

Everything that she planned and prepared for her baby, her hopes of holding her baby soon, the thought of seeing her baby’s angelic face. . . was all gone.

Her baby is gone.
