Walking out of the house, being friday I walk over to olivers. Leaving early in the morning before everyone wakes up that is.
I've packed my bookbag that I used for school last year.
For being very heated out to day, I keep my hoodie on and keep walking. Feeling my face get all red with sweat dripping down, I refuse to take off my hoodie.
Sorta like a third home...
If only Oliver new about my first home, it would make the place light up, well to me that is.

Oliver's house is somewhat far away from mine. My "mansion" house is surrounded by woods and in the middle of nowhere, it takes about an hour and a half to get to his house.
If you walk...

After my hour and a half walk, finally I reach Oliver's.
As soon as I get on his street I can see him standing on his porch, to what I assume he's looking for me.
While walking I see him brush his gaze on me and then start walking towards me, Oliver had no shirt on and shorts.
He was skinny, pale, with blonde hair, and mint green eyes. Very rare for an eye color usually it's olive green people have, but his eyes were mint green.
I was kind of out of breathe by the time he got to me. Looking me up and down "hey buddy, you mind taking that hoodie off? You look like your gonna have a heat stroke or somethin ".
"Haha I might, i just like to wear it so much" laughing awkwardly, trying to avoid his gaze.
"Pfft, c'mon let's go inside. It's much cooler, I have the air conditioner on" he put his hand on my back as we started walking inside.

Coming in to his house a burst of cool air hit me. "Cloe, I got something I want to show you. It's up in my room" he said while walking up stairs.I took my shoes off at the door, if I didn't and his mom caught me she would totally flip. She has a thing about dirt and mud being tracked through out the house.
Oliver calls me cloe instead of clover for a nickname despite me being male, and I call him Ollie for his nickname.
I asked him why he calls me cloe and he said it was because he thought it fit me well. I mean I never told him to stop calling me that, don't know why.
The steps for the stairs were covered in carpet and creaked everytime you walked on them, the stairs were also close to the door. Right as you come in you can see them.
"Ok i'll be up in a minute" I take my shoes off and walk upstairs, getting into his room, I shut the door behind me and set my bookbag by his door.
Oliver's room was always clean and organized. Made me wonder whether he cleaned it or his mom did, even his bed was made.
"Can you believe this!" Oliver called from his closet.
Huh? "Believe what?" Confused, I walked over to him. He was bent down in front of his closet, messing with something and I couldn't see what.
Turning to me with a face full of amazement, in his arms was a bundle of blanket.
Leaning in close to me "shhh, you can't tell anyone promise?" Saying in a low whisper.
"Ummm, yes?" Unsure of what he was about to show me and why he wanted to keep a secret with me. Oliver never liked sharing secrets with people, unlike me...im pretty gullable.
Opening up the bundle, I saw it was dragon egg, "gasp!, Ollie what are you doing?! You can't keep this!" I'm in udder shock as to what he was showing me.
Dragon eggs were very easy to tell from other eggs, they were either grey or black with spots of hard colorful crystal. The colorful crystal part was so you could tell what type of dragon they were.
For example red ment fire/volcanic, green ment nature, dark blue ment water, and sky blue ment air. There are different colors but no one care to find out what they mean, they just smash the eggs right then and there if they find one.
By the looks of it, he had a black egg with red on it. It was a volcano dragon, fire dragons have a grey shell with red spots.
To tell you the truth I've never seen one in person, I've seen them in pictures but never in person. It felt like it wasn't real, like there was no such things as dragons.
I could feel the excitement bubbling. Still in a whisper, "shhhhh, I'm gonna try to keep it and raise it as my own."
I looked at him like he was stupid, "Ummm, won't it get big and like really dangerous?"
"Yeah, but if I raise it right it won't become dangerous and it will be my pet"
"Ollie you can't do that, it's a wild beast...um or animal? It's not gonna become a tamed animal, you have to get rid of it"
Oliver looked at me with wide eyes full of shock, "NO!, c'mon cloe, please, I want to keep him"
This was the first time I've really been in a situation like this, letting out a sigh of relief "fine you can keep it and I promise to keep my mouth shut".
