~~~"Well this is it, ready to face dad, little one?" Tsubasa patted my back, sensing my unease.
"No, but I have to...." I groaned already imaginng his reaction to me being out late.
"Stay strong, kitty." Kiba said as he waved and dashed into his house, Akamaru at his heels.
"Well ok lets get er done." I sighed.~~~
I trudged up the front path, and hesitated at the main gates, 満月 藩, or Mangetsu Clan was engraved into a metal plate on the gate.
"You okay, little one?" Tsubasa asked patting my head, I sighed.
"Yeah, just not thrilled about it." I stared at the setting sun, "Father is gonna be super mad..." I muttered
"I know....I know..." Tsubasa sighed, he pushed open the door and within 3 seconds of walking into our district I was tackled to the ground by a certain redhead.
"KAG-CHAN!! I WAS SO WORRIED THAT YOU DIDN'T COME HOME AFTER THE ACADEMY!!!!!! WHERE WERE YOU!!!??? DAD IS SUPER DUPER MAD AT YOU!!!! LIKE SMOKE IS COMING OUT OF HIS EARS!!!! ERI TOLD HIM THAT YOU WENT OFF SOMEWHERE WITH A BOY!!!!! OH HEY TSUBASA-NII-SAN!!!! I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH HOW WAS YOUR MISSION??? DID YOU GET HURT??? DID YOU KICK SOME PEOPLES BUTTS???? HUH HUH?!?" It amazed me how Akane could say all that in one breath.
"I was with my new teammate at the training grounds....training" I told the redhead as I patted her on the head. "Would you please get off?" I added, but her attention focused on something else.
"Tsubasa, how was your mission?" she asked cheerily
"Good, it was a success, and I got you guys something from the Land of Snow." he smiled kindly down at her. "It's being sent from a friends house, he's making them"
"Did you get hurt?" she repeated her question
"Nope." he popped his 'P'.
"Hey do you wanna get off me?" I asked but they ignored me, who was under Akane and Tsubasa.
"Did you kick butt?"
"Heeeeellllloooooooo?" I drawled out
"You bet your buns!" he winked at her
"Your not gonna have any buns unless you get off of me!" I shouted
"Whoops sorry sis!" she smiled at me as they rolled off of me, I sighed as air finally made it into my lungs.
"Kagome, where have you been?!" a deep angry voice reverburated (sp?) of the walls and vibrated the stones under my back, I couldn't stop my wince.
Tsubasa got up and walked in front of me, to distract father for a minute.
"Tsubasa, when did you return from the Land of Snow?" he asked as he approached us.
"Just a hour or so ago, I had to report to Hokage-sama, and I ran into my sister and treated her to dinner." he explained his voice lost all its carefreeness and kindness, he was all business.
"I was informed that Kagome," he swevered around to send a glare at me, "Was alone with a boy besides Eri..." I stood up and walked infront of Tsubasa, Akane was cowering behind us, shaking with fear.
"I went to train with my teammate, I'm a shinobi now, the law says that any shinobi has a right to train whereever and whenever they like." I explained emotionlessly.
"Not if they're a child!" he snapped and reached out as to grab my arm and yank my through the gate home, my instincts kicked in, I duck and swerved hitting the pressure point in his shoulder to go limp and I spun around my siblings and darted out of the gate.
