*Tiffany"s pov*
I was probably going to be the last one downstairs. I just wanted to make sure that my hair was absolutely perfect. I put my hair into corn rows and grabbed my phone from the table.
I ran to the elevator and pressed the button for the first floor and waited for the elevator to start its descent. I checked my phone seeing that Catherine had texted me. The text message read "Where are you?"
"On my way down now." I quickly typed. I jumped when the elevator chimed signaling that I was on the first floor. I ran out of the elevator doors and navigated the chaotic hallway.
Eventually I reached the performing area which was named after a song. The . performing area was named rock me auditorium. I stepped through the closed glass doors. At the back of the room there was a pair of steel doors. I strutted closer to read the sign that was posted on them. "performers only"
I took a deep breath before going through the doors. Inside it was complete chaos. People were running back and forth. One of the workers spotted me and said "how may I help you?"
She was really tall and brunette. "I'm Tiffany."
"Yes."
"What float will you be on?"
"The live your dream float with Selena Gomez. "
"Will you be singing with them. "
"Alrighty then follow me they are right here."
"I followed her to the dark hallway. Eventually the darkness ended and the light blinded me. When my eyes adjusted to the light I could finally see the girls sitting down in chairs in front of mirrors.
Various make up artists surrounded them. The lady said " I will be the one to do your make up."
"Ok are you a makeup artist? "
"Yep." I sat down while the make up artist spread some foundation on my face. "What's your name by the way."
As she spread blush on my cheeks she replied "My name is Acadia."
"Cool name."
"Thanks." When I turned around everyone else was out of their chairs. I stood up and went to find the girls
*Miriam's pov*
We were almost ready to go perform but we were still waiting for Tiffany. My face looked accentuated with lots of pink blush on. My eyes looked even more blue than usual. My hair was expertly curled.
I jumped when I heard Selena shout, "Tiffany are you almost ready."
"Almost. " Tiffany yelled back. We started to get ready for the parade. We made our way to the end of main street where the parade would be taking place.
Our float was blue with stars on it. We were getting on the float when I heard Tiffany screamed out "I'm here." Her feet tapped against the pavement as she came closer to the float. As soon as I got onto the float I had to help her out.
The familiar sounds of the parade starting pounded through my ears. We were the fourth people performing. I heard the first act starting. Trumpets, must be a high school band. I heard a big noise from a drum and then a upbeat pop song started up. I recognized the song as Taylor Swift's "22."
I thought it was Taylor performing but then the announcers started to say "please give a big round of applause to the mystique from Margo high school. There was one more act before we performed. I was beginning to get hyped up for the crowd.
After the Elmo balloon went through we were in front of the crowd. We heloed Sel sing her song "come and get it." "
